Thanks ! I noticed it's already installed on my bike. It's a small box just to put like parking coupons and little things. Don't think it's worth for 180$ but no complaints for me as the previous owner installed it

Guys, I can't find a slot to put season parking RFID coupon. How do you guys do it?

I went to Caltex (but I pump Esso.. hehe) to get those windscreen roadtax plastic and paste on the windscreen.

FOC 1.. the leftovers from their NDP promo I think.. have to ownself cut to size cause is quite big..

But your S3 windscreen is the shorter version right? If I recall correctly, the spacing not alot..

Don't know got enough space to put RFID and road tax coupons anot.

I've seen some putting it at the number plate screw there also.. using the normal coupon plastic holder

BTW, heard that nonid put RFID also won't kanar summon 1.. cause is in the system liao..

I dont display at all, not even my road tax. Just put inside box, if TP kena, then show them, say people will steal. Season parking, I dont think they check, maybe key in plate number. So far 2 months plus, nothing..

Yah same here my RFID tag are inside the underseat storage. So far no issues with wardens.

Is your HDB carpark electronic parking (EPS) type and does it work with placing the tag in under seat storage?

Mine is EPS. I got the RFID tag from HDB yesterday and the lady told me it will be activated immediately. Today morning went out of the carpark, charged me $1+ and came back in, it still displays hourly parking on the sign board. I put the RFID tag in my pocket and I think the eps should detect my tag considering they place the tag inside for cars.

Must go out tomorrow morning and check again. If its the same, then need to go to HDB again to fix it.

i tot EPS detect ur IU, not your RFID. better check with HDB again. they may need ur IU number i tink.

Exactly, I gave my IU no for my office carpark and it recognizes it instantly. But that HDB service centre ppl just asked for my vehicle no and I assumed they can get my IU no from my LTA directly. All govt what. Will update you once I settle this

Mine is open carpark season parking style. RFID is based on short range radio frequency, it doesn't matter whether it is displayed or not. Warden will check bike number as an alternative.

For your case, as per mentioned by naim yours is EPS with gantry so IU is the only way they can authenticate. This concept is same as monthly parking at commercial and private carparks.

No worries Adzz. :)

Anyone who is interested please PM either me or foxz. Timing has been pushed backwards to 11pm but the meet-up venue remains unchanged. We will meet-up at McDonald's (Ridout Tea Garden), maybe go for a short ride at the West Coast before heading back to Ridout Tea Garden or perhaps end up at Fong Seng for ice milo. :)

Sorry bros. That time would be too late for me already. OC will complain. Haha. Enjoy yourselves though!

FYI, (especially to foxz) I managed to get the irritating "rattle" sound resolved once and for all - The culprit was actually the plastic plate with the "Daelim" word on it. For those with the storage box, the plastic plate has been removed but for mine its there since I don't have storage box. Nothing to do with engine or other components of the bike.

Sounds silly though. Check for your parts and ensure all fixtures are tight.

Guys, whenever I off the engine after traveling I hear some "particle oscillation" from the exhaust pipe. It stops after quite sometime. Is this normal? I have a month of warranty left...

Hi,

i've been eyeing the 125 S3 as i find it a competent workhorse for Sg roads but then the 250 Advance really stirs my interest!

Advance owners, care to post a detailed review? I appreciate all feedbacks on its pros and cons. Hope to clear my 2A next week. But before that, i wish to understand and be prepared for its "characteristics".

Current otr price as checked on 15/11/12 is $9900 w/o insurance. Not a bad deal at all.

Another bike on my list is the new Adiva's 300cc AD3 which is liked Piaggio Mp3 but comes with a foldable roof. According to Mah, machine price is tentatively at 10k so i guess otr will be around 12k-ish.

The 125 or 250 should serve well, 250 of course if you have a 2A. the extra HP is always good when you need to overtake. Im enjoying my 125 each day I ride. Now, I really appreciate the beauty of maxi scooters. Huge space, yet able to weave through traffic when needed. Feels safer too. Haha. Key word is feel..

I saw the AD200 at my area just couple of days back. I like the protection against rain it provides, but rain coming from the side will still hit the rider.

So far, 125 has not failed me, but I got a bit panicky today when I placed my key sensor in the underseat, but when I tried to activate the button, there was no response. Pretty scary indeed.
