Dear members,

 

In celebration of SingaporeBikes.com 9th Anniversary, this year we will be bringing the event closer to the most popular shopping belt of Singapore, Orchard Road. *SCAPE, which is located at 2 Orchard Link, is a place where youth of our generation engage and explore their social interests and creative passions.

 

The focus and emphasis for this year's anniversary will be on new and potential riders. Together, with our partner and support from the Singapore Traffic Police (TP), Singapore Motorcycle Traders Association (SMCTA) and Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA), we target to deliver the message of safe riding not only to the motorcyclists, but also to the general public in the hopes of achieving an understanding and find common grounds from both the drivers and pedestrians alike, in this safety campaign. We would like to make Singapore's road a safer environment and towards a more enjoyable riding experience for motorcyclists.

 

The two days event, with the participation from our website and the general public crowds from Orchard Cineleisure & nearby shopping centers, will be an exciting and enjoyable experience for all. We will be having booths that are supported by big brands from the motorcycle industries showcasing the latest motorcycle models, safety and protection apparels, Traffic Police Seminar and more. There will also be displays of vintage and rare motorcycles of our past years that barely exist on our road now.

 

For our forum member(s), we will having our anniversary challenge that will be educational in the process, so that member(s) will also learn at the same time have fun while engaging in the games. Attractive prizes to be won ! ! !

Also, with the announcement of the upcoming SG Changi track in 2012 that is capable of supporting MotoGP, the most

prestigious class of Motorcycle Racing, Motorsports will be the sport in our country that will grow exponentially. We see

more young bikers going into Malaysia to utilize the race tracks at Sepang or PasirGudang for a feel of racing. When the SG Changi track is ready, the trend will be focusing on local races, participated by our young talents. Therefore, we hope to be able to bridge a positive impression to the general public about motorcycle racing and to break the myth that “Racing equals to Reckless Riding”. Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA), the governing body for all forms of motor sports in Singapore, will be on site to reach out to our talents on the requisites and the International Sporting Codes of Motorsports to have a better understanding and awareness.

In this anniversary section, we will also be conducting online contest, polling and promotions by our advertisers.

hi kev, a few questions here if we were to register under PK thread for the celebration:

 

1)we get to choose the t-shirt size instead of the 1st come 1st serve basis?

2)we need to pay 25buck for the goodie bag, how about those that is not interested in the goodie bag?

Thanks for the interest.

 

1) No, I indicate to put in your t-shirt size is because to facilitate the person who's going to draw the t-shirts as a lump on behalf.

 

2) Those who's interested to go, but dont wish to buy the goodie bag, just add in name can already. Can still purchase the goodie bags on the spot on the day.

Thanks Kev's!!!

 

Been a long time since the last celebration in 2008. 2009 was not a good year as economic was bad and not ideal for any event to take place.

 

This year alot of work had been put into planning the forum anniversary. We sincerely hope the PK can once again come together as a united front. I understand from bro Kev's he'll be engaged during that period, I hope there will be a coordinator that will step out to gather the PK.

 

I understand there are queries on the event T-shirts sizing. Seriously it's chicken and egg! Which comes 1st. If the organising committee were to wait till the ordering of sizing is in, it will be too late to produce. What we will be producing will be on percentage based on asian sizing. PK can consolidate the attendance & purchases together and email me at kushinagar@singaporebikes.com and we will attempt to cater for the PK group.

 

As for those that do not wish to purchase the Anniversary Pack (A.P), no problem about it. You are still welcome to the celebrations. As for those that attended our previous anniversary will knows that alot of prizes to be won. This year our Grand prizes for the Anniversary will be an actual motorcycle.

 

What to expect from the $25 A.P?

- 1 x lucky draw coupon

- 1 x SBF 9th Anniversary event long sleeve T-shirt

- 1 x SBF 5ltr dry bag

INVITATION TO SINGAPOREBIKES.COM 9TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT @ *SCAPE

 

 

Dear All,

 

 

We would like to officially invite Phantom Knights to attend SingaporeBikes.com 9th Anniversary event @ *SCAPE. Being an online motorcycle portal where Singaporean bikers congregate, this is our annual celebrations where we bridged and connect together the bikers, the motorcycle trade industries and government bodies and to promote safe riding as our lifestyle.

 

Our theme for this year's celebration would be targeting the youth, new and potential riders with the aim to educate and reach out to the public about safe riding and to make it home safety for our love ones. In partnership and joint effort from the Singapore Traffic Police (TP), there will be seminar on road safety, talks by fellow bikers on safety and products, etc. We're taking a big step to reach out to the mass public by holding the event at *SCAPE building (behind Orchard Cineleisure) to deliver across the safety campaign. Safe riding is not just about the rider but also the general public that share the road with us.

 

 

The highlight of the event would include a SBF Challenge whereby participant(s) will walk away with attractive prizes such as branded helmets, aftermarket sprockets, engine oils, just to name a few. We will be glad and welcome you and the group to sign up and participant in the challenge.

 

 

As usual, we will be coming out the Anniversary Pack (A.P) priced @ S$25. Purchase the A.P and stand a chance to to win the Grand Prize of an actual motorcycles.
