Dear all. have anyone here experienced input drive shaft spline failure? I learned from many sources it is due to lack of lubrication. Therefore I tot of getting some feedback and maybe join forces with fellow 1150gss' to open up and lube the splines.

I have been following this guy video... very informative. usually he doesn't push any sale... this is the only video he is selling something.

 

I don't hear much complain about stripped shaft, even in forums... this guy operate a shop so he might have seen more failure than we know...

yes I did watched a couple of the vids. seems like 1150 all the way to the dry clutch of 1200s' needs this spline greasing. I wanna strip the shaft but freakin no garage to do it. need to find a kind soul who has this pte space. not a one day job though.

Hi all. I have ordered a GS LC. Anyone knows whats the time period needed to wait for the bike to arrive? Was told that BMW is having summer holidays now and they will only start production in September. Meaning to say i will only get it like in November or so. (1 month shipping and time to put the bike together)

 

Anyone can share?
