Hi, there!

I am waiting for my TP in few wks time and hopefully get my 2b license soon.

firstly, Im so new to bike obviously....I dont have a driving licese too so you can imagine how...ya

On top, Im a girl and only 148cm...I initially was interested cbr150 range but seems like hard to get brand new ones here in Singapore...

and actually havnt try and sit so not sure if its too big for me...oh ya also interested in R15...but my friend said its too big for me..

I want to ride sports or street bike...but recently started to intested in scrambler too.....

KSR110 looks awaresome but what i know is that in Singapore this bike is restricted from importing....

if I cant find one what other bike can be similar size that i can comfortably ride....if possible scrambler...

preferbly, would like to buy a brand new too...

Can anyone give me suggestion?

Thanx

Actually, you can ride any bike you desire. Only needs time to get used to it. I've seen a lot of lady bikers riding a 400 cc bike with no problem..

But anyways, if you don't mind a how about a fino? Or cubs? Both are not too heavy and the seating position is quite low.

Or maybe you can patiently find a KSR110. KSR110 is just nice. I've seen 1 owner selling in this forum before.. Forgot where section though..

Anyways, good luck on your tp and your search! :)

ya should be only getting used to it....but in Singapore..the traffic jam is like a hell so when Im stopping, my feet cant reach then its kinda hard...and unsafe...as a beginner rider sepecially...

but ya as I really wanna ride sports, street or sclamber, I didnt not ask for small bike at school...even though instructors asked me to do...so ya lower cut ones i use...but still cant touch both toe on ground...hahaha thats how short i am:(

If I wont hav anymore choice and only choice is fino or something I will go for operation to extend my leg!!!!!haha...coz it will be sure for my transport but I really want to ride what I want....>_

I wish I can just buy KSR110 in somewhere and bring into Singapore....hahah no possible...

I hopefully can find KSR...well i was searching just now...and maybe KLX...but seems too high for me...hmmm

Well passing TP first though....

Thankx for your post:)

Honda XR-125 not very high as well. Kup are great choices... Yamaha X-1R, owned one previously its lightweight and easy to sniff in and out.

You can also consider YZF-R125/Aprilia RS125/Derbi GPR125

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

krr.... my girlfriend sit my sp got problems putting both feet on the ground but can sit comfortably on a krr... shes about 150++cm range.... just be prepared for higher insurance cost (under 21?, p-plate, fairing bike)...

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

Brand new difficult to find..but in my opinion 2 stroke easiest to take care..haha

is there much difference bw 2 and 4 stroke, when it comes to taking care of it?

sorry im not knowing basics but would be great if can tell me...>_

mainly for 2stroke bikes u gotta put 2t oil where else 4 stroke u juz have to put engine oil say every 3000km. for 2t oil will have indicator like a blinker light or for some bikes when it is required. usuali will last abt 21day or worst 1wk. so u gotta put dat into consideration for ur maintenance as 2t is essential to lubricate e engine pistons for a safe ride. if u wan hassle free, get a 4 stroke bike. cubs r economical and can neva go wrong style wise. gt many accessories to pimp ur ride to customize hw u wan it to look..gilera is also another alternative..although its taller but u can stand easily when stationary

for 2 stroker you need gearbox oil as well, so its additional 2T oil you need to buy...

top up engine oil every 3000km for a 4 stroker? pls send your engine for a overhaul... all engines not suppose to "eat" engine oil...

2 stroker easier to take care???

where you learn that from???

2 stroke just pour expensive 2t..

gearbox oil once a year can aredi 750ml.

overhaul also easy... no cam, no timing chain,

but easy doens't mean cheap tho.. haha castrol 747 2t is now $40/LITER..!

once you forget on your 2T you can send your bike for a overhaul too...

and if you change your gearbox oil once every year, pls send it for a overhaul too... 1L of oil dun cost you much...

um... xr2 nt that short lei.

unless she cut the seat lah.

anyway i suggest u get 4 stroke.

2 stroke is not really suitable for beginner imo... u need to know how to take care.

ksr110 is cute and nice, its legal in sg too

maybe xr125 might be suitable too

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.
