dropping by to say hi to my fellow bb riders.. can see alot of new nicks popping out..

1)ah beng frm bike werks very frenly but his workmanship can be justified.. try..

2) for after market exhaust, there's a fellow bb rider selling is delkevic stubby slip on for $400.. of you can go to motoworld and ask them to order 2bro for you :)...

3) 2nd Hand Bikes are never perfect, heck even first hand bikes have to be recalled.. but of course for a decade old bike, wear and tear seems to be the main culprit.. jus change them and it will be alrite..

4) Talking about insurance.. I'm 26 and it cost me $800++ for 3rd party with fire and theft..

5) checking for cam chain, Alai once asked me to rev my bike up to 5k rpm and release throttle.. if ders a hissing sound (sounds like 2 sand paper grinding against each other), its time to change before the marble sound sets in...

6) dunno what happen to my bike, ders no more 25 blinks.. been 3 weeks already...

shud have a meet up and watch world cup together.. amacam??

Coe bikes more or less abit prob. Unless previous owner take very gd care. Think my bb coming out le. Haha ah BEng at Bikeworkz do bb also? Long time nv go cause always must wait

Yep...he does bb also...send mine to do top overhaul last month after my bike gives out bluish white smoke upon starting and heavy deceleration..This indicates my valve stem seal is worned out.

Workmanship is 90% gd. 10% bad as the mech there did'nt align the ram air ducts into the airbox well enough. Thus causing rain water to seep in and i got a foul sparkplug 2 days later while riding in heavy rain.

Just keep track of your coolant level and engine oil for the first 2000km...Look out for white smoke or bluish white smoke. Top overhaul done at HKL or HLK?...If HKL i trust them also ar.

me also mature le.... me 30 this year liao le....

was thinking whether would white be nice on a bidie :D

Wah bro ure 30 and u say u mature.... u better be careful... most ppl here past 35 suffering from mid life crisis

Bro Jbatracer, anything things to look out for after the servicing? mine jus send in for the major servicing top over hauled @HLK this cost me $2300 in total. i dun wan later got anything wrong again.

One common mistake is when they load ure top block down, if they dont do it carefully a small gap in the gasket will cause problems. Thats what happened to mine.... below 150kmh all okie but once u whack the engine the high compression will force the oil into ure pistons smoking the whole road.. then it will stop again once u stop whacking.. my gasket was off by less than 1mm... lucky still under warranty and i got a new set of piston rings and re-polishing of the piston top

well i just paid mine for 700 bucks plus 1 year 300 bucks rd tax and i am good to go for another year.......anyway i am 27 so if 22 should be around 900 bucks ah bro

wah for a 18 yo like me how much?

wow...... gd info. later would be going down heng motor to look at the bb...

just asking how much for the overhaul ah bro?

full overhaul with con rod replacement all change abt 4k

By the way, i happen to gana once when i turn on my ignition key, the FI light was there. When i try pressing the start button, the engine did crank, but did not fired up. All i did was to turn off and on again and everything is back to normal. WTH was that?

Honda electrical gremlins at wrk.. got used to it

are the hard panniers availiable for blackbird? cause most of the time i would be doign touring..... saw some blackbirds at pagoh r&r during vesak day on my way to melaka and fell in love

hi guys kinda interested in getting a bb also.... can i ask u kind bros anybody put panniers on the bb as i wanna bring it for touring and is it a vivid touring bike?

Usually the rule of thumb is if the bike came with hard panniers then the designers would have taken into consideration the ergo of the bike. If u add ure own then ure definately doing something to the balance and performance of the bike.. Thats why some say stock is still best....

ups for the birds ~~~~

if u r gonna compare drz with bbird... it's gonna be superbly comfort lor.

also, depends on your height and length of arms. if u need to stretch alot, then prepare for back ache.

anyway. whats the schedule this Saturday?

Bottlecap, u shld come join us
