it will sound too loud.. quite deafening! but if u like, why not. sound like an auto harley!

hi bro,i'm riding 05 VXR,been facing tis prob wif my seat compartment cover which is use to cover d carb.tat plastic cover tends to b out of shape when d bike is hot n gaps can b seen.any solutions cos my stuff keep on slipping frm d gap...

put a cLoth over the the cover. make sure its big enough to cover the base of the compartment.

tat's a common problem.

u can actually take out and bend it back to shape a bit.

or just put a cloth like wat TS1 said.

for me i put my old helmet bag on top of it. gd enuff

noise pollution, get complaints easily.. wont b surprised next day u see bike upside down.. lolz.. i go bdk rsv dat day at 4am got dis rc guy come down scold me.. i didnt do anything oso, my bike runner sp all stock except malossi filter... he say too noisy.. but there residents got lotssa other gilera's n sm's... muz hav been them.. hahaha...

the nosie from a 2T can be really terrible especially on a runner wif an additional open pod setup at such an expose space as most of the other usual 2strokers uses airbox

 

So imagine a 2T runner with an open pod setup n an illegal chamber race exhuast

the gaps r usually small as long as u dun hav small items dat can slip thru or get stuck then ur fine...cannot help it for this issue.

 

My compartment had been cut out wif a huge hole for additional clearance n I still can put my stuff properly..it is how u arrange ur stuff inside

Round my way there are loads of cars and bikes with loud exhausts, my 2stroke was stupidly loud and nobody ever said anything to me!!! Depends where you live i suppose... Will let you know how loud it is when i get it and take the silencer out hehe.

if they come and complaint saying your bike loud.ask them to buy u a silent bike:) if not dont stay here:)

if u put extra heLmet onLy.. then wat r the other things that sLip thru? haha.

 

either u pLace a bigger cLoth or heLmet bag.. which usuaLLy works.. or u can poke 2 or more hoLes where the gaps are.. n tie with wire.. Like stitching.. which is a bit harder to remove if u wanna meddLe with ur carb n stuff.

wat i'm more concern is the heat coming from there. sometimes my

pillion's head can burst off when wearing the hot helmet.

any ideas to reduce the hotness in there?

drill some ventilation holes loh...anyway the heat is there to stay...nothing is perfect

found some transparent looking color liquid underneath the pipe that connecting to the end can. neither green(coolant) or black(engine oil).any1 encounter the same problem?

mine is a stock vxr rst , have not touch or change the coolant yet , still looking for the source of the leak ..it just appear in the middle of nowhere...email psc awaiting for their reply,..thanks anyway

i never took out...it sounds better then gpr of cos...but after hearing it for a prolong period of time u'll start to feel like it sounds like a grass cutting machine...wahaha
