actually my battery is still ok but at time i do have the second set-up. i think i it mainly due to weak battery.

 

anyway was told it would be good to charge your battery once a year.

 

would be dropping by to limbat shop to charge since it would only cost 2 dollars. when the charger would cost me 70 dollars.

 

1 x ride to Malacca and back sure fully charged!!

i think mine is 5k at 90 5.5k about 100.

will confirm the figures again.

but you got your roller replace with doctor pulley right?

tat was exactly my thinking of the batt shd be charged fully after long and touring speed ride but i still noticed the self-diagnostic twice. when i was there, the frequency of the off-and-on the engine is quite often such as take scenery pics and petrol refill. Yday i started the bike no more liao. any need to charge the batt?

 

btw, uploaded the pics.

 

Another symptom might be the magnetic coil gets faulty and I hope its not the case of yours. When the coil gets faulty, it cannot effectively charged your battery during ride, battery will gets weaker and will get "self diagnose" during ignition.

 

after a few starts you will find the ignition gets weaker....

 

better get it check if weak ignition persist.

i have a voltmeter. it is still charging at ard 14.1v to 14.3v but those few days i went touring, when i start, the charging sometimes is slow, but surely, to reach 14.0v after ignition.

3 months still ok wa. Can claim warranty if it really happens. (I hope not)
