actually it's more to jus a nrml scrambler helmet wif the visor on.. arai also has one that's quite nice.. if i not wrong it's call arai OW or TW(not quite sure).. other brands also have.. u can check out HKL website @ http://www.teamhklracing.com and see their helmets available

Hi all, finally manged to find time to shop for full face helmet. Went around Jalan Besar and found many motorcycle shops.

 

One of the shops Regina showed me a pretty cool helmet and a bulk discount. Thought I sound it out here with you guys.

 

Here is what I was told. It has this carbon look and according to them, this design is a limited edition. The inner liner is detachable and strap padding is also removable for washing. Sounds good to me cos I sweat a lot. The air gun proof visor is able to withstand heavy impact. It also comes with cooling air ventilation.

 

Check out the pictures I took.

 

If I can get 12 people to purchase this helmet by this Chinese New Year, they can reduce the price from $180 to $115! Pretty cool huh. Since I can wait a while more, I thought I can find out if anyone else is interested in buying this helmet.

am not sure whats the difference between the arai helmets, like which is the highier end, better helmets,etc.

 

the models are as follows:

Rapide-OV

Rapide-SR (wads the difference between SR and OV?)

RX-7 RR4

Astro-TR

 

am quite interested in the Tattoo series of the Astro-TR models as well as the Stella series of the Rapide-SR models.

 

and reviews on the above few models, and price range would be good

Hi guys, sorry if I ask some repeated questions.. Actually, I'm planning to buy a full face helmet for myself and an open face helmet for my wife.. I onli bought helmet once so nd some advice from u..

 

1) Izzit a "possibility" or "definitely" that I can get a PSB approved ff helmet $150 and below from LAB? What r some of the brands recommended?

 

2) As I've written above, I oso plan to buy a PSB approved open face helmet for my wife.. However, the OF helmets price ranges r too great.. How do I know that the quality of the helmet is worth the price? Izzit the more expensive the better or by brand?

 

3) Are there any other shops u can recommend to buy helmets?

1) 4 $150 u can get a Rjays Razor ...

2) expensive doesn't mean it's gd ... but gd 1 norm cost more ...

For anti scratch visor NOLAN is top notch, as for clip on not much selection at the moment though cos its not PSB approved.
