I saw this on a Nike recently. Anyone knows where to buy a bike cover which has elastic at the ends so that you dont have to use clothes peg to secure your cover?

the oxford cover available at motoworld has elastic band at the two ends, plus a strap with clip in the middle that can be secured underneath the middle of the bike. no need for any clothes peg or anything else to secure.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

if i recall correctly it is $30+. can call and ask motorworld.

take note, they have a camouflage pattern version which is more expensive, but not worth the buy. the material is thicker which makes it bulkier for in-bike storage, and the thicker material doesn make it any longer lasting, not coz its no good, but coz the model i showed here is already dam good.

hi,

does anyone know where to get plastic cover for RFID tag?

thanks

shouldn hijack someone else's thread for your own unrelated question.

but to answer your question, practically any bike workshop would sell it.

yeah lim ah boy also have. okado. front and rear have elastic bands. and i find it damn irritating and difficult to cover my bike. but i must admit, the quality of that cover really able to keep my bike dry. previously i bought bike cover from lab, cant keep my bike dry, somehow water just seeps through.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Ive had the oxford. But in a matter of about 6 months or so, it deteriorated to become pretty brittle and even had melting in harshest of wet and dry and hot conditions. Unless you have a great height clearance without bottom headers, the bottom strap could be of great use.

Besides that, its pretty fine.

My first one got stolen so do label them.

If its $30+, i say it is fine.

Fully agreed !!!

I cover my bike religiously everyday to protect it from the harsh sun...

To keep dry away from Rain ? I don't think normal one can do the job unless its only drizzling...

Itchy hand ? Maybe abit...

The cover last me about 6~10 months maximum... After that it will tear like paper...

From my point of view don't need to get any fancy, expensive, branded one...

It a BATA (Buy And Throw Away) affair... New one also better than old one...

the plastic clip broke on 2nd week of use, aside from that, able to keep the bike dry, but condesation will still form though.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Hi bro,

Any idea if tere's any hole/ring at the bottom fir us to padlock the cover? A bit paranoid n kiasu, and worried the elastic bend still can be pulled open by 'itchy hand' pple or potential thieves.

TIA

Why not just use a normal bike cover and tied a knot at the front or back using the excess material? I've been doing that for years. It won't spoilt the cover, tight enough that one cannot pull up unless unknot, and it's free.

For my case my cover is too big for my bike, so I tied one knot permanently at the back and another daily use one at the front. It's good enough.

LAB sells those cover with elastic band..

dun really like those , refer to be able to tie a knot,

anyone knows where else got sell bike cover without the elastic band ?
