Guy's I really love my phantoms for its comfort, customization & low running cost.. however, phantom is no longer in production and nothing beats the feeling of riding a brand new bike.. so wats the next bike for phantom lovers?

The tiger uses the same engine as the ta200 ive heard.

totally diff kind of bike leh.. I'd rather they come out with same design bike as phantom but with better engine, braking system etc etc

plenty of cruisers in 2a. but if you wanna stick to 2b, theres the bajaj avenger. dalim daystar.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

the bajaj avenger got the looks & has nice specs! only concern is the rated top speed of 110km/hr & fuel efficiency.

not much talks on it in SBF despite it being around for a number of yrs.. btw, is it a 2b bike? I checked website, it says 220cc but I saw an ad here indicating a 2b bike...

 

wud love to ride 2a cruisers but the price & maintenace seems a lot higher.. is it true?

its a 2b bike. believe its 200cc.

Yes, the bajaj seems like a replica of a phantom. Not sure of the reliability and parts availibility. Well, my steed 400 fc is about 26kpl

2.2L of eo oil raftly and taxes are about 160 per year.

 

Tyres from $190 for shinko's.

Bridgestone about 300 up

Dragstar 400 classic & Zx6r

you will only feel the pinch when you want to sell it next time..

 

i really cant understand why anyone want to pay 6¬7k for phantom.

 

can even get COE Harley.

 

and bigger bike maintenance is not that high.

From financial point of view you are right. But, if you think with your heart and not your mind, nothing beats a brand new shiny bike. If you have the money and if its your dream, then why not. After all its only 1 life :cheer:

I think you may get, but you will have to search a lot. There is huge demand for that bike so not easy to find for good value for money.

let's say you ride your brandnew shiny bike... and meet rusty old harley at traffic stop.

 

then can proudly say.. phantom is my dream bike... i spent 8k for phantom...
