So far, i also do agree with xxes123, tat they fared and performed better and are more efficient compared to other common used brands.

but if u asked my advice and 2cents, unless u do track often, when performance are ur main priority or maybe coz u just wanna try and really feel e difference...

u can give a try and enjoy e experience.....

if not normal pads would actually do..........

Maybe its best tt u try it out and experienced urself, then ull be in a better position to judge for urself then....

just my 2cents

Guys, need your advise.

Izzit true 'wave' rotors brakes better?

If i change it, do i need to change the brake pads too? Or does it comes with the pads

Your 2 cents please, Cheers

There are 2 benifits of having a wave disc:

A: The disc does not heat up as much as STD disc

B: The wave disc helps keep the wheel spining faster [Gyroscopic effect]

In regards to changing the pads, If you replace the disc's you must always change to new pads.

Why the Wave pattern? TOP

Admit it! You’re interested in Galfer waves because they look cool! We like the way they look as well but believe it or not, there is quite a bit of thought that went into our patented technology. On a normal round rotor, the leading edge (think toe-in) of the brake pad is in contact with the entire height of the blade as the pressure is applied. Because the contact covers the entire height of the blade heat buildup takes much less time to occur and you end up with heat related problems like brake fade, thermal lockup, and inconsistent braking performance. What the wave pattern does is take that leading edge of contact between the blade and pad and constantly move it up and down, thus minimizing heat build up and its inherent problems. Cool air is also introduced in greater amounts. In addition, through centrifugal force, any foreign matter is thrown clear of the outer rim of the blade and doesn't’t get lodged in the pad material.

Hi...goin to change my brake pad from my CBR954RR. I am quite confused to know which brand of pad is good. Well, I am not those hardcore rider. Wat I want is a good pad which is good in both wet and dry condition and most importantly won't eat my rotor. Heard tat EBC is quite a good choice. Does it eat my rotor? Any good recommendation?? How is Ferodo pad?

U can try vesrah semi metallic pads.Just brought for my f4i. Very good for $18 a pair. Use for my previous sv6 for track session and held up very well for the one hour track session without any fade....Good rotors life plus some benefit of sintered pads...
