did it before once by jus a spur of the moment...

was going to do a drag wit another fellow bro... at the traffic light i maintained the throttle to 6k rpm... once the light turned green i str away throw half clutch.. den my bike went up smoothly.. at tat moment i didnt increase throttle as i know wat will happen...

luckily nothing went wrong... *sweat*

nice wheelies can only be done in the spur of moment.. just like Biaggi's infamous wheelie!!

I tried once before, i believe quite far and high.. was very agitated cuz i ost my wallet, was rushing back to the place i lost it.. high rev, then pop!! up it goes..

not sure if pipi saw that..??

dude, i did exactly the same thing before, at traffic light i did a pop wheelie, with a pillion behind me. he was super stunned by me, i was even more stunned actually. :giddy:

it was like a bit more than 45 degrees, thank god the bike didn't go the other way. :cheeky:

Disclaimer: NOT TO HAO LIAN .. JUST SHARING MY EXPERIENCE

Again, nt to hao lian ok .. i did my wheelie on my spec i throwing half clutch ..

Upon green light, immediately 1/2 clutch PLUS rev up till 7-8k nia .. timing must be very good and accurate .. Then motor moves off slow acceleration but still half - clutch but add more throttle (abt 20 - 30% more. NOT FULL!), then u can fill the torque and "lift" from the rear wheel if the timing is correct.

After moving off 1st 1/2 metre, i found my S4 pretty high up on e air, front wheel abt 45 degree frm grnd .. across a whole junction (total 6 lanes) .. maybe a good 6 - 7 metres or more .. than release abit of throttle, and down comes my bike with a normal thud n with e handle bar a little slant ..

That's wif a shocked pillion at e back of me ... Thinking back, pretty silly as i did it in a moment of spur coz of a very unruly car which cuts into my lane blatantly .. Many what ifs comes into my mind too ..

However, the feeling is damn satisfying :cheeky:

Pls do not do this in the public road and if u really need to, do so at yr own risk at a deserted area!!

Resolution for 2009, stay healthy, get wealthy, make more friends, ride safely & pass all exams!

I've done a wheelie on a super 4. Version S.

It can be done. for those who are doin it at a stationary postion, that means at a traffic light junction, from red then turn green...Its easy to pop the bike, but it can travel for long becuz u are starting from 0km/h.

I do it when i'm on the move abt 10km/h at 1st gear.

Lots of factor involves to help pull the bike up.

Let me share with u some of them.

1. Body posture, try to sit nearer to the pillion seat.

2. dont lock ur elbows, relax and lean back. most people would try to lean forward then pull the handle bar back towards them as they throw clutch. ITS NOT NECESSARY.

3. While maintaining throttle, as u pull clutch, u may brake(front brake only) a little to compress the front folks done, and if ur timing is right, as the folks goes up after compression, u throw ur clutch at the same time.

I normally maintain throttle or open a little to maintain.. u may not need to close ur throttle to bring the bike done IF ur bike is not to high. maintain throttle and let drop by its own.

Always leave ur right foot on the rear brake lever, in case you feel your leaning back too much, just a tap on the rear brake will bring the bike down.

Enjoy
