Have you all heard the news? Thailand was not fined, suspended or anything like that for their walkout during the 1st leg of the Singapore-Thailand match. Just a verbal warning. Like that, every other soccer team also can do so if they are not happy with the referee's decision. Mass walkout cos all you will get is just a slap on the wrists... :thumb:

Yarh, I heard of it today and was kinda pissed with the verdict....if 3-5 minutes of walkout, I wouldn't mind but 15 minutes??!! That's absurd. So lesson learnt ~ not happy with ref's decision, run to your coach like a crybaby and boycott the game :D

To think the one who started all these are once the kingpins of Asia :nono:

The Asean Football Federation (AFF) disciplinary committee which comprises of the chairman and AFF president Tengku Ahmad Rithaudeen, AFF head of delegation for the 1st leg final, Dr Ibrahim Saad, Cambodia Football Association president, Ravy Khek, Timor Leste Football Association chief, Francisco Kabualdi and Vietnam Football Association general secretary, Dr Tran Quoc Vong. Dunno why this committee is so afraid to take proper and necessary action. What message are they passing to the rest of the ASEAN soccer fraternity? That it is OK to walkout if you are not happy with the referee's decision??? :slapforehead:  :sian:

I think they are being lenient to the Thais as they will co-host Asian Cup this year. But it may send wrong message to others that it is indeed OK to walkout if you are not happy with ref's result.

If that's the case, we may have extended viewing of English Premier League matches. Imagine in Arsenal VS Man Utd game, Arsene Wenger tell the players to wait by the sideline if Ronaldo were found diving in the penalty box and the ref awards a penalty to Man U

Asian football really no hope lah. Like that walk out also not punish.

This is not the first time Thailand got into such thing. Remember the other time, Indonesia and Thailand throw away their match? They were fine $40000 then later reduced to $20000. AFC hopeless lah. Its such a disgrace! :nono:
