what anti virus are you guys using?

 

i have never used any anti virus, i wonder does this puts me at risk or anything? does anyone has any good recommendations?

I using Mac, so no anti virus software for me..

 

For Win, most anti virus slows down the pc quite badly..

AVG Free. To tell you the truth, as long your hands are not itchy, you will never get a virus. I'm using Win XP by the way.

Most anti-virus programs tend to slow the system down. Though you can control what you surf, it's difficult to know which files are completely clean at times.

Basically every anti-virus programs does the same thing and a lot of them are suggested above by fellow SBF-ers.

I using vista, no anti virus installed and no problem so far (2 years plus of usage).. Firewall is enabled though

This connotation of "hand itchy" on this thread got 2 meanings wan.. One is what crazydj described, the other meaning of it is up to y'all imagination

Free antivirus is good but no good thing is free.

 

Might as well pay a little and treat it as an insurance.
