Hey, I like cats n if land permits I too wanna have dogs as pets. Cats are just plain lazy. Know how to act cute only while dog can bring them out. Have fun together outdoors.

Two diff ppl with two diff view. That's all I see to it. No right n wrong ans to it.

No worries I am calm. However to the one thinking that those in support of the animals never had a near accident with animals might want to think again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hey, domesticated animals, usually pet animals like cats n dogs usually get more sympathy from us. I ran over a rat in a carpark once. Yeah I felt bad abt it, but life goes on. Didn't mean to do it. Dumb animal just ran out from under a parked car and between my 2 wheels. *bump* *squish* D.O.A.

 

Basically this whole hoo-ha is because he didn't stop to check or help the dog. Not because he hit the dog.

Its about decent human being, humanity. When you hit, you stop, check, even if its to check your vehicle, cleanup/render assistance, feel the guilt and admit the accident. Dont come up stories. Because your Sorry wouldnt mean a thing by then.

Maybe he did check the dog, then see he cannot do anything, then he leave. The issue here it's not that he hit the dog, its not that he went back, its not that he went out to check, its just locals who just want to spite a 'somebody'.

When you hit a dog, you stopped to check the animal. The dog is injured. You can call the SPCA as well as a known veternary clinic for them to send a animal ambulance to convey the dog for treatment. Or you do not wish for such a expense. You might as well try to move the dog to die peacefully at a tree, under shelter and prevent the next Rider to ride over the dog or get into a accident trying to siam that dog lying on the road.

 

In the event, the dog 'refused' your TLC and rans off. Then you can get back to the your vehicle and go off too.

 

I know its very difficult for some people. But to me so far, its been simple.

 

And for the last part, you didnt have to call anyone, except your conscience, on whether you done enough.

I was running in my new beauty along the route60 from Kluang to Jemaluang......running in speed was about 100kmh......then saw a bunch of wild monkeys along the road......slow down a bit and the next moment.....wham i hit one of them that just ran across the road......slowed down and watched from my rear mirror and saw that poor fellow with hands and legs up in the air......the whole bunch of fellow monkeys was crowding around that poor thing....

 

What do you think i should have done??? Anyone??

i dunno abt u but if its an animal(watever it maybe) ran across my path, i will avoid given its safe to do so if not i will just run over it and yes i WILL NOT STOP and waste my time calling spca or ava just to inform them i ran over an animal that risk getting me kill or lose my hand or legs. of course if i stop to check my bike for damages, i will go over and pray for it( not to rats of course)

I agree. I would not hit any animal on purpose, but if i had hit one, i would slow down and not bother to check. The thing die already what you want me to do right? Of course if i an driving in Malaysia and i hit a damn cow, i would stop because the cow belongs to someone else and somehow or rather, being in a place where you have full knowledge that cows exist, you are somehow or rather obliged to compensate the owner.

 

But if i am driving somewhere where there are no signs to inform about any animals and crap, i dont see it as my fault. Wake up people! Compassion for people first before animals. As long there are people dying in the world, our focus should be on each other rather than animals.

if i hit a dog while driving, i will stop and come out of my car... but mainly for checking damage on my car. to be frank, instead of feeling sorry for that poor dog, i think most people will curse at that beast for dashing out on the road just like that. well, almost everyone except those hero condemning that poor guy...

Once in a while I have frens that has kill animals via roadkill. We would laugh it out at the kopitiam. that animal juz happen to dash somewhere at the rd n be rdkill.

The first thought that came to my mind was if I go back and see what happened, the whole bunch of Monkeys if start to attack me how? Is it pregnant? a Mother? the leader? Its his luck that he got hit even how much I did to avoid.....lucky my beauty was a huge thing or else I might even be thrown off my bike and gotten hurt.....

 

Another story here.....was in Vietnam riding in a group and travelling very slow....a baby buffalo ran amok because it was separated from its mother....running across the road almost three times here and there....I manage to siam the poorthing but the bike behind me wham that baby buffalo and the rider was thrown off the bike....rider bruises all over and the kampong crowd was building up like 50 to 100 ppl..... should we have stopped and apologise for the incident and agree to pay that thousand of USD (Heard the cost was about USD5k)?...we do not carry that kind of money by the way.....the guy that hit the poorthing was a local viet guy and he shouted to us to start our bikes and chiong away.....later this viet guide told us that if we stop to check we will be dead meat.....so how? Does this say we do not care? I would say see situation lar! Oh by the way just before this happened, the rider in front ran over a piglet that was in formation running across the road.....we siam that too

 

We care and we do love animals but they cannot be taught how to cross roads....Remy was just at the wrong place and the wrong time i would say....it could have been me and I am also a celebrity (wakakakakaka....only to my family lar!) Can joke anot huh?

 

Last but not least, I ran over a squirrel once and stopped to checked on the poor fellow but it was like prata.....what to do? Just say sorry and carry on.....cant do anything by the way....
