Cus for me,if i beat the traffic light like 1-2 sec after it turned red...nth happen so long u nv see flash its ok.....

 

Unless from a distance u noe its already red and u beat it den..bo pian....

 

cus frm what i noe,after it turns Red theres a few sec gap for the red light cam to be avtivated..like a allowance time....1-2sec i guess...

yeah.. a VERY bright light.. like lightning.. but they will gif u a couple of seconds after the red light appear before the sensor kicks in..

Why do you idiots even try to beat the red/Yellow light?

 

Green light at the junction, instead of getting ready and watching out for danger, your minds are on whether you can make it across before it turns red.

 

Yellow light comes on, instead of trying to stop, you speed up...cause you don't want to stop for a little while.

 

Don't give me excuses that the yellow came on suddenly and you have no time...If you practised defensive riding, you'd have the time alright.

pls dont try to beat the red light. over the year i've been riding i saw 2 accidents whereby motorcyclist tried to beat the red light. one of it with pillion somemore. near miss dont need to say already.

but sure those always on e road de u will encounter whereby u r @ a speed whereby u will nid 2 brake beri hard in order 2 b behind e line n by speeding thru e amber we might hab a chance 2 pass, not tat we wan 2 speed thru e amber light but is if we sudden brake we might not see whether there is a car behind a not or whether e car behind might wan 2 pass e traffic light wif us. so it will oso cause a danger.

i think u should go back to driving centers cause its enter they didnt teach u well or u didnt learn well. ALWAYS SLOW DOWN when approaching traffic junctions? u mean u didnt learn that? slow down as in coming to a speed where u know u will be able to brake in time even thou the traffic light turn ambers when u are 10ms away.. u practised E-braking in Schools.. if u able to pass TP u should be able to brake in time.. what if the traffic light gets red and there is this Kancheong bike/car who dash out from the opposite direction? then i can say good luck to you.

i feel that defensive riding also means knowing what cars and how many cars are there around and behind your bike...

 

its really NOT a reason to be able to slow down at the line...

 

fact is even if you really stopped at the pedestrian crossing, its alright.

 

the camera is aimed at the middle of the junction anyway...

 

just tat it gets a lil embarrassing at times.. muhahah...

hmmm... Juz use the arrow sign before the line as guide la... when hit the furthest arrow frm the line n the light is still green then only u pick up speed.... if amber slow down...i've only learn dis when taking class 3 but instructor nvr tell anything bout dis in 2b... main thing slow down la when nearing a traffic light.

there's allowances of 2 seconds before all the cameras are activated.

 

there will be two camera shots to confirm whether you sped or not. the first one is the one behind/on the first stopline (the 4 boxes). the second camera will start shooting you once you cross past the 2nd trafficlight. once two shots are taken, loveletter will be mailed to your house.

 

 

i got caught once by the latter camera, it's a veryyy bright light. but i didnt get any letter.

hi, every1. i dunno whether i was snap by e red light camera anot. please help. i will start my story now.

 

 

while i was riding a company despatch bike. i was on e way back to my company when i reach a junction beside serangoon stadium, the traffic light for straight going vehicles was green. while the arrow for turning right is red. my mind tat time was thinking jux turn right cuz e main light is green for straight going vehicle den e light for turning right is red. so i jux turn when i see the road is clear.

 

i'am nt sure whether i got snap by e camera anot cuz i didnt really check for e flash.

 

 

can someone who have commited tis kind of thing or can someone who knows well about e red light camera tell me if i will kena anot please.

i dont tink they got sensor for right turn vehicles... can u remember whether ur lane is just a right turn lane or can go straight as well?

This happen during board day light or night time?

 

If its day time, 50-50.

 

If its night time, u dun need to notice the flash, because the flash will be brighter than a thunder flash , meaning u will confirm see it.
