Hi all lao jiao in sp new boy in the block just got my licence not long ago and clooecting my bike on wed.just wanna get some tips and pointer form your how to maintain sp?i know there alot of ans to this question in this thread but can help to summarise for me?and where can i "mod" my bike to make it faster. thx in adv

May i know how to get rid of those nasty scratches on the end can? Heard of something called rewrap but wasnt to sure what is it all about. Can anyone advise?

lolx get a new end can!! rewrap $10+ - $20... new end can $60 can get in singapore... jb cheaper... just use ur current de till u have to change lo =)) scratches only ma... will get rusty abit at the scratches there only wont make ur bike slower lolx

Fvck it, today is so sway. My father took my keys to duplicate and when I tried, can put in and start but cannot take put.

 

So must bring my bike over and let the person take out. On the way there, suddenly rain so heavy so I faster find shelter. Stop already kan chiong so put side stand and the handlebar was on the right. I came down and bike DROPPED!!

 

My flawless paintwork now has scratches and stuffs.

 

Firstly, my brake lever broke.

Secondly, my Yoshi footrest bent in. Although the brake is still working, it feels abit wierd. Should I change it?

Thirdly, fairings a bit of crack. It's at the Allen key area so my fairings can't really fix back to the proper place. Is it possible to mould it back or something?

Lastly, I feel that my alignment of the handlebar and the front wheel seems abit out of alignment, but I'm not too sure about that. How can I double confirm?

 

And if I change the footrest and the lever, I'll have to buy both sides and not only 1 side right?

 

So, how much will all these damages cost to fix? Do I have to buy the parts and bring it to a bikeshop to fix them? Or just bring my bike to a shop and they should have the parts?

 

Another question: What does this part do? That time the mech told me it wasn't moving when I rev the bike and he changed it for me for $80 for a second hand one. I changed but didn't feel much difference from the one which he said it's "spoilt". He changed the one in the first pic and both of them can move now.

muaahahahah! exactly like xiao wen!! his footrest dented in slightly... brake lever broke into half... fairing kana also =x lolx

the footrest still can use la... kick back to position lo =)) tat time i buang until the footrest dent into the bike. i also kick back. three months le still no prob

tat part that the mech change for u is the valve thing... when u throttle, ur cdi will make tat part move... then allow 2t to flow in... open ur valve... etc... if not moving ur bike will have to energy =x

i asked my friend wad sprocket good and he told me to change to 428 hub or something de

is that sprocket good ?

and wad difference does it have ?

 

428 hub is smaller than stock hub (51 or 52?)

smaller hub means higher top speed but lower pick up (eg with stock hub going at 7rpm at 6th gear is around 110km/h. with 428 maybe at 7rpm 6th gear is around 130km/h) but of cos some weaker engine de will experience unsmooth acceleration at 5rpm there if change to 428 =))

 

just got into another accident. tsk. rode right into a chain at the carpark while doing delivery. bike fell on the right and i flew backwards cos the chain went up and hit my neck. stitches and big bruises on my neck cant swallow properly. front mudguard broke, yoshi footrest bent, fairings scratched, steering alignment feels weird, front brake lever bent. cb. anyone knows how much it would cost to fix all this?

428/520 is just the chain size, for pickup/top end dosen't affect much. The thing that affect your pickup/top end is the sprocket settings (front and rear). nothing really to do with a chain. a small drivetrain chain will make your bike feels SLIGHTLY lighter and faster response as it's not as heavy as the stock weight.

 

Regarding blogging(like choking lidat) @ 5000 rpm, it's gotta do with the reed valve. Try changing your reed valve to a aftermarket reed valve and you will have more accurate fuel feeding into the block and it will be lessen or almost to none.(i mean the bogging)
