Kudos to ur instructors, tare r tons of shops sellin helmets on tis tiny island. Read up abit more & u'll realised wich r è more worthy shops to spend ur moolahs

Don't get AGV Longway. Build quality is terrible.

 

I've been using it for only 1 year, and encountered the following problems:

 

1. Big crack on cheek piece (never drop helmet before)

 

2. Cheek EPS liner came off. The glue was not applied properly.

 

3. Visor nut might become loose over time. Need to tighten with allen key occasionally.

 

4. Helmet feels one size too small.

If you are on a budget suggest caberg flip up. 100% made in Italy with good build quality. Been using mine daily for almost 2 years replace the normal wear and tear parts from Regina.

Helmetboys???...can give that shop a miss. Don't waste your time going there. Proud & arrogant. There are many shops in town that are friendly and resonable.

Agreed.... attitude problems... even if sms, u start asking a lot of questions about a helmet, they'll start to ignore your sms after a few questions. Just waiting for them to close down.....

I was looking for another flip up until i saw these thread. And I thought I was alone. Had the experience two mth back when I brought my wife to buy a spare flipup at helmetboys. Boy was he arrogant and just like bochup. Hide behind the counter. Only ask him two questions for the caberg n agv and he not interested liao..

I use the Caberg Duke. Nothing bad to say about it. I like that the pads can be removed for washing so its not stinky. Also, the Matt Black color matches my scooter.

However, I find that I don't really flip it up anymore (used to do it for the shiok factor when new).

I installed the Sena bluetooth unit on it and I have tunes and can answer phone calls while riding. BTW, the Sena unit is really damn good. People say they cannot tell that I'm riding while talking to them, coz got no background noise and the call is crystal clear.

Anyway, lately I'm thinking about getting a fixed full face helmet. That's for another thread.

 

Btw I bought my helmet from LAB (Regina). Service is good there. No attitude.

I was looking for caberg duke and nolan n103 and n91 or rjays flip up. Somehow some of the inner shells for other helmet like agv seems smaller. Any idea if caberg at regina cost how much?
