I wonder if you have even ridden any motorcycle before. Or this is the first motorcycle you are getting? Seriously, don't fly when you can't even walk. I hope you have a valid class 2 licence.

No offence intended, but I just hope you know what you really want. No one's gonna spoon feed anyone, if you don't even have time to go source out your own future ride, then don't even think about buying it. Don't know this model and that model? Go internet search. Don't want to go bikeshop? Can still visit garage sales section. Everything also lazy? Rot.

Bro Jeremy, u are 21 years old now, guess u just got ur cls 2.

Im 1 year older then u and my insurance from NTUC Fire and Theft cost me $1600+ for 1l bike. Yearly insurance will kill u thats hold me stop thinking of buying now.

insurance is a killer. but since 1litr bike is smething too much, yet u wan to look for something tat is class 2 yet affordable, i suggest getting a 600cc bike first. probably tat is y he chose R6 and CBR600RR

BUT...... get the older models, its cheaper.

No more regrets.

Actually older bikes usually equate to more problems, and more problems can usually equate to more repairs and maintenance. On the long run it might just cost you more. You must remember to set aside budget for maintenance and repairs also.

I know how you feel when you are so bent to get a class 2 dream sportsbike, and all the more you should really think through it carefully and see what you really want. Dont' just settle for something simply because it's big CC and cheap. If you get a cheap and old one, you will probably realise that the X-factor isn't really there, no one really bothers to turn a head for your bike. You will end up getting very sian. I'm speaking from experience.

ok bro. 600cc not all insurance are 1000++ i got my bike at age of 22. insurance only 800+..

btw. 300 for bike things very impossible for class2. dont even dream of r6 06, 05 also dont dream. goes for the cbr600rr 03 04 05 06 07. if i am u, i will try my very hard to get fazer600 in order to fork in the 300. fazer600 fuel is not so jialat like sportbike. or maybe get the r6 01/02 model. should be cheap. EXCEL CYCLE at kakibukit got one r601/02 model. just saw just now.

but my advice 300 is not enuff.. don try to pampered yaslef where u will suffered at the very end. and started looking for buyer for ya bike and wanna sell it.. advice u go get s4 betta. vtec 1 or 2.

i have already finish my ns days...now working lor...but pay only a little...minus off everything i may left only about 300 for my bike things

Bro, $300 will not get you very far. It's no where near enough to maintain a class 2 superbike. For your own good, do seriously consider NOT getting a bike now.

Monthly instalment is just 1 part of the equation. By the time you factor in the rest of the running costs, you will find yourself eating grass. If you ask me, I'd suggest you wait till you monthly pay reaches about $2500 to $3,000, then you can indulge all you want.

The urge now will kill you if u buy now...Better stay freely then commiting later and u wil definately suffer with ur peanuts earning.

Why not wait 2 years later and take up 2 years saving plan from any bank or insurance company. U be able to satisfied ur urge by then.

Well dude, I don't think it's wise to encourage Jeremy just because you have chosen to do the same with only $200 to spare. o_O
