The journey is like a pregnant woman, she suffers lots during labour & delivery, but all that is forgotten & replaced with such immense joy when the baby is finally presented to her.

In the same way, you will fall down, drop bike, get plenty of scoldings from instructors, repeat lessons left, right centre, but the moment you pass test 1st time....wow! the more you suffer, the sweeter the final victory becomes!

Just enrolled in 2b and will be going orientation this Thursday. Believes mostly of you guys had already passed your 2b here. Kinda excited to riding :)

Enjoy the journey EllipseArts. In this particular thread there are many tips for the 8 lessons in 2B.. I had benefitted lots from the seniors that went before me.

Woohoo I cleared all the riding theory lessons in CDC. Must I clear off all the DRT (defensive riding theory) lessons before I can book the RTT?

I realised that you don't have to pay another $25 dollars before your class 3 pdl expires.

Hi, I went for my first two prac lessons and I can't seem to make bring down the main stand. I see others so it so easily. Any advice??

You mean put bike on main stand? Put your foot on the lever of the main stand push it down to the ground. Make sure both legs of the stand are in contact with the ground. Which means the bike is totally vertical & not leaning a bit to the left or right. Hold the bike steady in that position with your left hand on handlebar & right hand on the crash bar. Now press the mainstand harder with your foot & give the crash bar a little tug up while your left hand pull the bike backwards....tadaa

mk sure gear is in neutral. Otherwise you wont be able to move the bike at all.

Practice with jbdoggy's advice. Practice make perfect. Have more confident when pushing the main stand off. Good luck for your lessons!

I understand there is a 12 month from passing the 2A, but is that for the test or to even do a practical?

I would really like to do the practical and theory a month before I book the test for after the 12 months if that is possible.

Finally, I heard CDC has the longest waiting list for the TP test - but think I 'm better going there because I did my 2B there.

Thoughts?
