yes awin, i seen the 2011 model kawa concourse gtr right in front of my eyes... but din actually go see the spec difference except that i know that the color scheme got some differences... this piece of ultimate tourer can reach genting in 2+ hours wor in 1 tank! yieks!

 

also, recently i seen a 2010 gtr with two brothers exhaust... wow!

no la bro, that day at MW the bike with two brothers exhaust is an FJR, not GTR... but nearby at the opposite of the road, parked an dark blue GTR... the GTR with two brothers exhaust that i mentioned is i meet him while going home on the road...

hi guys..

 

need some advices regarding the FI for fz6.

 

1)when do we send in our bike to service our FI? normally do we need to leave our bike at the bikeshop?

recommended bikeshop to do this?

 

2)what are the typical warning/performance signs that I may need a throttle body sync?

 

if any fazer rider had ever done this b4, do share ur experience and shop and cost to this.?

 

my plugs are new, air filter is new, oil is fresh, chain well taken care of and the sprockets not showing any "old age" wear, new throttle cable.

however still feel that bike is heavy when throttling and response is slow when throttling. my bike was previously dyno tune on feb dis yr could it be so fast that i need to retune again??

 

any advices would be helpful. tanxs.

His projector is different from mine..... i can install Halogen H1 bulb and go inspection, plus the output is different also.....

i oso can la....i just remove the HID bulb, plug in the halogen H1 or H4 lights i can't remember which one it is, then plug back the stock connector, unplug the angel lights, then go for inspection. all this i just let the shop do la...my stock connectors still intact n my ballast hide so jialat jialat one.....

is your throttle producing funny noises? it might be as simple as taking the throttle grip out and clean the rust underneath the throttle grip. i think normally sync of throttle body is done together with valve clearance and change of chain tensioner if needed..

Nope.... mine is illegal also.... just have the option to install normal halogen bulb to legalize it.

 

Something i learn from 1 of my friend inside STA, Projector lamp is not illegal. but anything not original is deem illegal.... so very gray and really depend on the inspection centre.....

tested & proven bro... my frn's frn... we intercepted him (in fact it's 2 of them, 2 gtrs) at gp esso when they reach back... no pit stop, one tank shoot up to the peak...

 

btw ur seat wun burn ur butt too right? but on how true is it, let me change to gtr & i'll tell u ok?

 

btw again, i got a frn who is intending to sell his fz1 gen1 corbin seat for the price range of S$300 or so... u interested? or anyone interested?

chitut, how u know sia....ok, let me check the manual at home....what i knew is that i could replace the HID bulb wif our stock but i didn't really try it la....i'll check anyways...

 

btw, mine hv the hi low beam with the mechanical arm moving to change between the beams.....
