Anyone here experienced from Netrual hard to engage to gear 1? Its like the gear cant go in gt the krak krak krak feelin then kick 2nd time then go in...

 

its either time to change engine oil. or time to change clutch plates.

 

cheapest is apply WD40 to gear lever and lube clucth cables.

yup.. if i have to take my helmet everywhere i go its going to be damn tiring i dun feel like going anywhere. 2 flip ups with bagpack. wah lau.

 

 

 

that's the other problem. side panniers need abit more space to go in between cars.

its notmal....so far no problem

Ya lor. I was riding wo panniers before. Looks nice la but go ard must lug helmet, so leceh. All my previous bike used to hv box for helmet n jacket even my zee. So in the end i fix up panniers v35. Doesnt look too bad actually plus e convenience of not hving to lug ard helmet n jacket anymore. Luving it til now.

 

I just fixd my panniers for a month. So nice can carry raincoat as well. Hahaha...

Oh yeah any recommendations what kinda topbox should I get? I like H&B junior but dunno if the 45l can fit 2 fullface... And whether I should wait for 2nd hand or buy brand new...? My current ride doesn't have the rack either... So if buy new is 320 for rack and 350-380 for new box... Looking for alternatives...

For me, I would go for Journey 52L (actual volume is 50L).

 

I bought a new black Journey 50L, regretted it slightly, cos the actual volume is only 48L and it is a "tight fitting" for my Caberg FF and my wife's MHR half-face.

 

But to each his own. Some may prefer the looks of the Junior and does not like the looks of a Journey.

 

If you do not mind a Givi, then a Givi Maxia E52 is spacious.

yeah big box can put more things ma... i now no box at all... anyway i called Mah for this box, they said its around 560-580 for this box without rack.. but they say the box too big for fazer.. i was like huh?? anyway if with rack hitting near 700+ i might as well top up abit more for H&B?

yeah agree that cannot squeeze has its safety.. but sometimes u rushing for time then stuck ah... very pek chek.. anyway my gf prefer top box than side panniers... cause she wanna lean on something haha...

i think he's right la, as i say its humongous but again up to u if u don't mind. mayb u shld go down n have a look at it urself. the price is nearly the side panniers i paid n yes la, top up a bit get H&B much more better......but i think will top up a bit more la...

I called M-Tecknik and asked how much for junior 45, its 350 for box, 320 for rack, 80 for back rest.. think i save save abit buyH&B sua.. unless can get trk 52 at like 30% lesser than H&B.. cause H&B still got resale value..

I'm using Maxia 52L and I still find it's not big enough for 2 helmets and some stuff.

So i think it's not too big for fazer as what Mah said.

 

Would have got the TRK52N if it weren't so ex.

maxia 52l is ok for me leh.. i have 2 flip ups in my maxia all the time when not riding..

actually it is about the shape of the box more than the volume, i think some box in terms of volume big but cant even put 2 ff..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Yes its my current target.. but Chan at M-technik said today that its new... but it won't be in till end Aug... and there isnt any stock now till then... looks like i gotta wait till then! it seems that in this bike industry, always when I want to buy something, there isnt stock... and when I dont have the money for it... there are so many hanging on the walls of the shops...

Beware.

 

The real top box is not for leaning your whole body weight onto it.

 

What I heard is that the top box and the rack is never designed to support a person's weight.

 

Just imagine the consequences of a person leaning fully backwards on the top box and the base-plate and/or the rack is/are to break and/or give away, the pillion might fall off the ride.

 

Do remind your girl-friend about the danger of it.

ANy bros here gt trouble starting ur bike? When i press on the start button, its jus went "click" and the engine trouble button lights up. When release then no more warning light. This went on for afew times. After trying afew times then can start... Any bros encounter this?

Totally agree. If not why they put the max weight each box n rack can carry....
