Z^^kia > haha, then we meet after my maths test lah...

Murphy, CO is Carbon Monoxide. the excessive of CO is due to bad fueling, the fuel did not burn completely in the combustion chamber.

a complete combustion will end with water (H2O) and CO2. incomplete combustion will cause CO to form.

your bro's bike need a carb washing and syncronising.

may be the jet needle wore off also...

see more about combustion here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combustion

a small cc bike with straight through pipe will cause CO level to rise because the high exhaust gas velocity reduce the time of the exhaust gasses stay in the pipe and the fuel-air mixture can't convert into CO2 and water fully. (i used to have a TZR with thong pipe, always failed the inspection...)

big cc bike normally doesn't have this problem beacuse the engine is very hot, the heat will accelerate the combustion process. my bike with high flow yoshi header and straight through GPR still can pass inspection, the engine is very hot, the heat is killing my 'precious' when i ride in the hot afternoon... :giddy:

if big bike has this problem means the carb needle wore off liao, or the setting more to rich side, need to wash and syncronise the carb needle or replace with new needle....
