How does a wrapped up Pipe looks like? Can ask the service provider to wrap up with Carbon Fibre? sure looks like after market pipe! My friend did wrap up his pipe with AhBoy CF Sticker, looks damn chio. but a days later the sticker deformed and when he remove it... it is a nightmare! all the sticky stuff actually baked onto the pipe... took him a while to remove them.

 

One GSXR rider email me about his brush with TP/LTA... His pipe got a hole/buang or something. So he wrapped it. Later TP summon him illegal pipe modification, he went to appeal at LTA as the pipe is orginal and no mod was carried out internally. LTA refuse to waive the summons. He even cut open the wrapping exposing the Suzuki engraving on the pipe, but still they say it is illegal... And the appeal went on, donno the end result though.

Can anyone of u bros show me a pic of ur SV that has been fitted with either a sidebox or topbox??

I wana fit a box, but wana see see the outcome of the bike' outlook first..

Actually, most bikes do not look well with box(s), not to mention sportbikes.

 

Riders do not add boxes to their beloved bikes to make them look good, the box is there for a practical reason, or a permanent solution to a daily problem - helmets and raingear. If your bike is your workhorse, you'll know what I mean.

 

But at least i could say, among all makes and models of sportbikes, the SV still look ok with a top box. Can't imagine a R6 with a top box.... did saw a GSXR1000 with 1 though...

I think that the cheapest aftermarket-lta compliant, muffler I heard. A similiar one(aluminium) from arrow will cost abt $700.
