Thanks for the Welcome. Juz wondering if any1 knows an experienced Harley Davidson Motorshop who can do installations of XR1200 accessories n xhaust system if i buy stuff for my bike. Recommendations any1?

There are few bikeshop specialize in HD or should i say...V twin engine.

 

This are my few recommandations at east side

AMK-sunburst (ah yee, not bad but time is wasted)

SinMing-Combine motor (ah hock,hard to find him)

Kallang bahru-Custom cycle(tony)

Kakit bukit-Roslee

Thanks 4 the info. I guess only 2 shops can trust? Kallang Bahru n Kaki Bukit. Kaki Bukit 1 is the closest coz i also wash my bike @ Rudy's ShunLi Building.

anyone using detachable windshields? which one are you using?

 

Hi long time no see. I am using a stock HD detachable shield on my Heritage Classic but only put on for long rides like to Frasers etc. (too hot to put on for daily use). Shield is big and puts off a lot of noise. Also after about 150 to 160kph there is a stong wind force against the shield that causes a type of wallowing effect like speed wobbles but a bit slower. Great in the rain though.

Yeah, I would want one too to take away the wind while going at a faster speed. They should have a shop that rents windshields for a token sum so that we dun have to stock a piece of plastic to collect dust in other times.

Dyna FXDC. You can buy the non-harley like Nash. Heard they are very good and come in diff shades. Look on EBay, a lot cheaper.

 

I think they are great once over 110 km and ride over 1 hr.

Hello all, just had to join and comment here as I was looking for pictures online to add as screen saver and what a surprise when I found the first picture of the Iron with the tag "NO WAX". That is so cool because this is actually my bike. I live in Woodbridge, Virginia, USA about 20 miles south of DC.

My bike has forward controls - comes with mids, the mirrors have been flipped & inverted, grips, mirrors, pegs and shifter have been swapped for the "Tribal" design. Planned for next fall is a NRHS 1250 cc conversion with Rhineheart pipes and a Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather air cleaner. This combo should get me about 100hp to the wheel.

Here are some more pics of my bike, my helmet is a ACC/Headtrip carbon fiber "Polo" style in chrome orange.

hey guys, anyone experience a slight delay when u twist that throttle of yours and at times the engine feels like dying in that split second (the morning choke syndrome). encounter this problem even after bike is fully warmed up and running hot.

 

my gut tells me it's the carb slider (definitely not the bowl as i just cleaned it) or my throttle cable (slight free play felt).

 

what say y'all? help troubleshoot! happy cny brothas!
