I just bought a HJC matte black FF helmet from Motorworld few weeks back. It's cheap and good. Matched the bike too! I removed all the stickers on the helmet $100 for a helmet like that is a steal! I already saw 2 other riders wearing the same helmet during the Sportsters ride 2 weeks ago.

 

Glad that you've bought a FF helmet. I've been wearing FF since my 1st day on the road. You'll get used to it. And you won't feel safe without it once you get used wearing it

 

For the FF, went with a bit more color and graphics given my yellow bike. Have enough all shiny and matte black helmets! Let me know if you guys from Hillview area meet up again. Don

Yup, HJC & KBC both are korean brands and they made helmets for harley. i have a Harley full face made by KBC and the dealership dun have the replacement shield here.

 

Maybe motoworld has the replacement shield as they have some of the HJC models.

$300? Any shop can sell the correct battery. Just make sure the amps are right. My battery died one month after a took delivery (at least covered under warranty). The heat in SG just kills them.

currently i am using yuasa..i found this online which is the same will there b a diff if i get the stock ? http://www.yuasabatteries.com/vehicle_search.php?action=showListing in terms of lasting.. anyone knows where i can get them here so i can enquire i called kin tai but they dont carry.

it's $250 for the Harley battery. Found a Yuasa battery, same size, same amp but the polarity was wrong.

 

Went for the HD one in the end. My 1st one lasted 2.3 yrs.

but the yuasa spec are for harley or you got the closest one ?

if you see the YTX20H-BS they cater for sportster but dunno how tru is it thou..

i checked the price is $292 for a 96 1200 xlh...

What is the estimated cost of replacing that??

was told that the bigger bearing inside there was worn badly & it making alot of "eeeeee" sound when my bike is moving...

i think it happen to me before check your brake caliper is the disc rubbing against the caliper ? if its the bearings... better change it before it get jammed and you have to cut the axle out... mine was saved in time. there was a dude his rear wheel got locked and his fishtailed..then ended up cuttin his axle must be a huge hole in his pocket !

maybe its not the same problem as mine..but better to get it checked..i guess should be about 200-300+- i am just guessing...i get to sunburst ..its very near my place so easier..

The 2 HD workshops that I went to told me to go get the HD battery, they lasts the longest according to them.

ya correct bro i also heard hd battery is still the best...thou its pricey but if it last long y not..
