Hi everyone, got myself a forty eight few weeks ago, curious about the cleaning and polishing regime esp in sg condition. Any tips from the pros .. dos and don't.

Ace Custom Tony, moved back to JB to semi retire. for Harley servicing and repairs,  i recommend Sanfu at Kaki Bukit.   Just google it.  They are efficient both in cost and time taken.  Simple

SG event is quiet but is free so I cannot complain ... :)

Penang event for people with depression ... :(

KL event for people with inferior complex ... :p

 

that sounds like a real turn off.

anyone into Ohlins shock for harley??

 

Thinking of getting a pair for my Sporty instead of the usual Progressive...

Pricing wise is very acceptable for the S36E model...

 

Any comments??

So HD can do the installation of the TTs? I am hesitant to get them for the fear that I buy it and can't get it on right.

 

 

Yes, the dealer can install. Check with SunHogs though. Chris said he ordered some so may have in stock. Not sure how much they would charge.

Check the HD forum on sportys. Ohlins will be much better than progressives. They have a sponsor (Motorcycle Metal) who will pretty much customise a set for you.

Hi Dnish, glad you like it, is norm for everyone have their own views.

Harley is just a Harley as it is ...

Riding one for long distance always make me feels slow and tried.

I have several bikes, doing 370km from my home to KL hotel feels I had already did to Thai border, motorcycle with speed and good aero dynamics.

In Harley world, you hate them and also you love them. :p

 

I enjoyed myself and the group. I would have to say last years had a bigger crowd at HR KL The odd part was that the Malay chapter had a separate event down the street and did not join the group at hard rock. Not sure why as the date was known way in advance. Also, the rock ride came 1 month after seahog (ride to krabi) so a lot of riders could not make it.

 

In any case, at least at HR KL, can always go down the street to the bars down the street for cheap drinks and anything else you fancy.

I cannot go if it's too late. Cause I got to ride to Port Dickson the next morning with the Triumph RATS. We are going to the Port Dickson bike fest :D
