i think u can try diff colours instead of using the base blue colour .. but make sure the colour of ur bellypan n hugger does not become the centre of attraction .. make sure the colour u choose is more "tone down" then ur blue vtec colour ..

 

second step , make sure tat there are other parts of the bike tat matches the belly n hugger colour to make it look in place ...

 

EG:

If your rims are ori gold , spray belly half gold n half base blue then ur hugger spray more of blue then gold ... confirm damn chio !!!

think it will good pretty unique

 

tats my advise to ya , open to any other suggestions though

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can share which shop provides good & fast respraying service? I have this intention of spraying my new hugger to stock blue as those cheapo spray cans can't really match up to my bike colour. A friend of mine then told me that there's a colour code for S4 stock kind of blue. I've asked my regular mechanic & he says that it'll normally cost like around $40 for that item & normally will take 2 weeks.

 

Can anyone verify this?

Everbright is at eunos ind there.. Ubi there u can go to Golden hill there.. For what i notice, If the bike shop that does paintwork is popular among bikers(eg: Yeow motor @ AMK), usually it will take some time.. I guess ur mech is giving u a longer time cuz he scare if he tell u 1-2 days will ready but the thing is not ready yet u also wont be happy mah.. Like my friend's CBR. Shop tell him can collect in 2weeks time.. But when he asked 2 weeks later, They tell him this : "Aiya, Do paintwork sometime if fast is 2 weeks, if slow than gotta wait 1 month"..

 

Good thing dun come fast.. Fast thing dun come good..

the 45 mins is they use spray cans and spray u can do it too just pay less then 10 bucks can already... the 2weeks onwards is more to airbrush spraying ... better quality and better shine and out look...

good bike shop that do paintwork will take away ur current paint then put a base color next it'll sand to make it smooth and put on the actual paint color

Thanks guys for the reply. I'm not in for paintbrush that sorta stuffs. Me just want to paint my hugger to match my bike. 2 weeks is rather too ridiculous lah if u ask me. 1 week or so will be just nice. But i'll be trying at Everbright this weekend. Hopefully the 45 min job will be good...
