I don't even dare try to pop a wheelie on my Runner (used to own one). One kok up and it'll cost me my bike or my leg or my arm blah blah blah. But if it's my MTB ...... anytime haha :)

Yohji .. teach me how to pop wheelie la ....

Ok picture this:

This is how I do it. There might be better ways. Just go slow in a straight line and select a "medium gear" (you got to feel which gear is comfortable for you to accelerate off). Then when you are ready, give the bike a quick and hard pedal (you don't really have to lift the handlebar but it helps). If you are going to lift the handlebar, then you don't have to pedal so hard. This suddenly burst of energy will bring the front wheel up. After that, try to keep it up and still being able to pedal (shift your weight to the back wheel). I can only stay up for maybe 3 seconds haha. I wasn't really into bike trials and stunts (because I suck in them). I prefer riding off-road with my off-road MTB (duh!?). Those experts can stay up and pedal for a long distance. But it's not good for the bike's chain and cogs (accelerates wear and tear). And oh yes, it is advisable to lower your seat to keep the CG lower, and also in case the front goes up too high then you can safely hold the handlebar and slide your backside off the seat. Keeping the tyre pressure lower can also help in some way. Sorry can't use my bike. I'm very selfish when it comes to bikes hehe!

Yo. Mine is a M400 and not 900.

The pipe is not underseat as well.

I think this sounds like Daniel to me.

He customise his bike exhaust underseat and it was feature in the ducati site as bike of the week. Nice looking bike.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Espido told me he is going overseas to study.

I am taking public transport tomorrow onwards.

Have sold ma bike and it's leaving me tomorrow.

Nope, I didn't join the ducati membership club. Is there such a club?

Cheers!

Yes, brother, standby anytime !

:cheer: :cheer:

Suddenly, going back to my good old biking days. Looking through all forums for parts, accessories and serviving. All ideas just flow into my brain as like:-

1) Exhausts

2) Suspension upgrade

3) Re-paint and a thorough servicing

4) The good old power upgrades

How lucky of me to have a sister that RIDES....

Can't wait for the MV..... hehe

Hi,

It's nice to have such club here locally. It's hard to gather monster riders together you know. Or am I missing them all along?

No way I got any chance to go overseas to furthur studies. I was a drop out and didn't even complete my secondary school and left astray to hang loose with some local ah bengs till i setup my own family.

Oh man, you really have the luck to get to fly to Japan.

All the best in your trip pal.

Cheers!

This thread is extremely quiet..........

Guys, Im certain someone's done replacement for their brake pads.

Other than Brembo pads, has anyone tried anything else with more bite?

Reviews and prices anyone?

The rear tends to feel "soft" no bite, or is this normal?

Others think for themselves.

Jade

Erm I paid somewhere around $300 for the Michelins. As for the Metzlers, I am not sure. The M1s were already on the bike when I took over. I don't know the price for M3 either. I just "heard" my friend saying M3 is very costly. Maybe because it is a new model. And yes, I think the thread patterns on the M3s really look cool!!!

Bro i wanna change tyres too.. Can tell me where you got your michelins?

who to look for? thanks
