WTF??? Did someone take it off? If anyone is going to KC anytime soon could someone tell Mike to put the bike cover back on? When i parked it there i put the cover on it, the cover has got my name and phone number written all over it. If it sits there like that for 3 months it'll rot!

 

Or at least ask Mike to park it in the shade away from direct sunlight/rain if the cover was lost/stolen. Its possible that Mike took the cover off to work on it a little, he did say he wanted to do a few things to it when i was gone. It would break my heart if i came back and saw the bike covered with rust and dirt. I'm not planning to respray the bike for quite a while until i have finished my engine mods and i need the paintwork/running gear to last as long as it can :(

To disappoint you a bit, the bike is not in really good condition. If i were you, I would pass it to one of my brudders to take care of it and get it started once awhile.

 

I'm actually quite sad to see your bike in this condition coz I love the bike....

thank for the advice. was at KC about 6pm today to talk to mike and discussed re-spray costs. 500 above for respraying + a further 500+ for labour estimated to easily be 1K+...

 

btw, saw blackreplicas bike. very nice! not covered though.

Just got off the phone from Mike, he told me he took the cover off to check up on the bike. Apparently it's in his shop so its no big deal since it sheltered from the sun and rain. Dainese, i think the poor condition you were talking about was caused by ME because i took it for a road trip a day before i left it at his shop LOL. I ride the bike pretty intensively and dont clean it often so it always looks like that haha. Anyway if you guys could help me keep an eye on it when visiting KC just to make sure its either sheltered or covered up if parked outside, i would be most grateful, thanks a lot!

Yo man, came back from jandakot last year, finished there in november 2007. I'm in maroochydoore now flying the learjet. Its REALLY boring here, but the lear is really a fantastic aeroplane! If you thought jandakot was boring, wait till you see this place! We can't own cars because we're only here 3 months and the only thing walking distance from here is the supermarket OMG. Wish i had my bike here, i really miss it, and the roads here are beautiful, its a rider's dream. Plenty of scenery, cool air, and sunshine. Biker's heaven!!!

Went down to Minerva last week but they don't have any 2nd hand M400.
