Thanks but i dont think the H pack can fit a helmet?

 

Looks wise, thats why i need to find one which fits it.

Oh and are there any legal aftermarket exhausts? Termi's look and sound gd but i dont want any donations to the government..

 

Get a Joe Rocket Space pack 2.0. Full face helmet, coupons, football boots, raincoat all can fit. You can get them off ebay. They function as both a backpack and a tailpack(lockable). Should be around 140 inc shipping.

 

GPRs are legal. They are nice and plug and play. Get these from Peter or Excel. Termis are not legal unless you find the very rare locally homologated ones which can run up to $3k or more, plus you have to buy the chip if it doesnt come with the pipe.

Friend contemplating a tail chop on a M400 and asked me to help do it. Will it de-value the bike or have no effect?

Won't have an effect unless the potential buyer hates tail chops. Note that debris and water on the road will be flung onto the rider after the chop.

Wont devalue the bike but some tail chops are irreversible so if next owner is a stickler for keeping things stock you may have a slight problem. As Warren mentioned expect a wet back if theres water on the road.

 

I would recommend a good fender eliminator kit first. THEN if you still dont like the look, remove the original beer tray and get the DP carbon ones. Those are really nice in my opinion.

 

I may have a set for the fender eliminator kits, or can point you in the right direction to get one.
