To eliminate some possibilities, I assume you've bled the hydraulic clutch, change the engine oil and ensure its not overfilled? Yours is the manual shift model?

thanks bro.

mine is 04 model. my last service before cameron trip the situation back to normal but on the way back, the problem surfaced again. now it's happening everytime engine got heated up. squeeze the clutch to the max and it might not be neutral loh.

Hmmm, the hydraulic clutch hose runs adjacent to the engine. There is a high chance there's air in your hyd clutch. When it gets hot, the air cavity prolly expands and severely reduces the effectiveness of your clutch. This is just my guess since you say its always there when the engine heats up so i assume its working fine when the engine's cold.

Check and make sure the clutch fluid is at the right level, no leaking at the clutch actuator (near the clutch housing there).

Update us your finding so all of us can learn.

i am using toyota super high life coolant-pink in color. i find it harder to heat up.as for the pressure cap, stock is the best.changing the cap doesnt make much diff( thats wad the mech told me).

Mine runs at half the temperature gauge most of the time. On hot days maybe one bar more, in traffic it will get higher. Sometimes it's less than half, usually during longer trips at highway speed.

my is always 4bar,unless heavy traffic then above half..

hi guys, i wanna check with you all, anyone on voltage meter? if so whats your V reading before u crank ignition? when idling? and when riding?

i not sure if mine charging system is soon gone, before crank 11.6V. when idling 12.6V. when riding 13.3/ 13.6V max.

fellow fjrians pls input so that i can standby to change battery, rectifier and check my mag coil. :)

Mine before crank is always 12V. After crank, slowly boast up to 13.1V. During riding maintaining 13.6-13.9V. Hmmm..i doubt your 2 years old bike need to change rectifier and mag coil so quickly. Check for leakage of electricity first. When one of the wiring broke, the closed loop circuit becomes open loop, resulting leakage of electricity. Does the turn signal work?, horn? High beam? brake light? etc.

wif my new batt, it's also abt the same as ur's (anyting less den 11.8V can't crank up at all).

The only difference is when riding, it will nv goes up beyond 13.5V (even ridin at more den 180kph). Is it a sign that my 5.5yrs old bike coil showing signs of degrading?

Bro, cant say for sure. Gonna see what kind of additional accessories that take in wattage you have on your bike. Firstly you need to determine how much watt is your alternator generating. Mine is 480W. Look thru your manual. It should written somewhere. Let says I am using a pair of HID headlight of 55W each. Then i have a pair of fog light of 35W each. When i switched all 4 lights at one go, they already taken up 180W constantly. I am left with 300W to play with. Still got gps, additional rear lights, led lights etc etc. When you dont ride long enough to charge the battery up, slowly the battery strength will degenerate too

Ah. Ok. That wire could be the culprit to the open loop circuit that leak electricity.

Mine b4 crank was 12.3v then after start it will go up to 13.6v-14.2v and after I turn on my HID, it will drop to 13.6v and after tat I turn on my fog light, It will drop to 13.2v-13.5v when on the go. I did switches for my HID n fog lights. This will help to prolong battery life. Cheers :)
