i intend to fix up a switch for my fjr too..care to share what kind of switches u using?

 

I'm onli using the bigger type of switch which is red in colour. Those available in bike shop is usually black in colour n easily faulty due to rain. Do buy 1 or 2 additional switches incase the switch is faulty when u r touring n u need to change it urself. So far I've change once. A wide range of switches is avilable at Sim Lim Tower. Go in from main door, up a flight of stairs n the shop is on ur right. It's onli $1.50-$2 per pcs. Cheers

Bro, cant say for sure. Gonna see what kind of additional accessories that take in wattage you have on your bike. Firstly you need to determine how much watt is your alternator generating. Mine is 480W. Look thru your manual. It should written somewhere. Let says I am using a pair of HID headlight of 55W each. Then i have a pair of fog light of 35W each. When i switched all 4 lights at one go, they already taken up 180W constantly. I am left with 300W to play with. Still got gps, additional rear lights, led lights etc etc. When you dont ride long enough to charge the battery up, slowly the battery strength will degenerate too

 

I dun tink the previous owner chg the alternator or any other parts. still all stock.

Wat i had installed r only few LED lights which i dun swtich on when in sg. so when i start up is as gd as in stock conditions. hence tt is y i m not sure if the coil is dyin soon...

 

Btw, where wld u guys recommend to go service the tensional (and those related sympton along wif this issue)? and usual how much wld it cost (a little bit tight on budget tis mth)?

Hi guys, any idea where to get waterproof ON-OFF switches? Those slightly bigger in size. Need it for my fog light.

Now fog light cannot on after wash bike in JB. Usually its fine and been working well since 1 year.

I suspect water already seep in to my fog light switch since its on the handle bar. In case ur wondering, im using the Hella Micro De fog lights.

Yes, saw that but already 4-5yrs old and maybe and the wear&tear things coming on the way already...If can get good buy. I will consider a new one of course FJR1300AE(clutchless)

if i rem correctly,HL dont come in clutchless anymore,before i bought my fjr i did called up ask abt it.u have to check with them again.

bro u can try bike production for brand new one. heard u looking for clutchless de right u can try asking them still got stock or not lo

 

best price can say so ba, i bought all my bike from them from class 2b to class 2 total of 5 bike liao so far my Fjr also buy from them de =)
