wah...dats quite abit..i have got LV exhaust, motivation bar ends and slider,K&N air filter,ventura headlamp protector,HID 5K, bagster Tankbra.and brand new BT023 tyres still running in. i guess 22k for a 09' with less then 20k mileage is very worth it..LOL

Always change the engine oil ( Maxima ), air filter, shaft oil, all point checks during servicing? Guarantee no problem with the ride...lets focus on the bike itself now...wahaha.....

i am always using castrol full sys,ows engine flush,ows oil treatment, motul shaft oil,denso iridum plugs..lol aiya the list nv ends. i just want to say, i strongly believe FJR owners take good care of their bikes, doesnt matter the buyer buys from who, it nevertheless a great deal compared to shops..confirm and double confirm.

Bro andrew after seeing u got 50+mpg out of your baby, i did a try on mine after i pump i rest it to 0 and for that full tank i go only 100km and move slowly but i still cannot get that 50+mpg!!! haha best i got is 48mpg and i realize one thing is that travel at 120km is the best for fuel saving i test mantain that speed and shock to see the avg MPG going up dono why also.

Basically, its easy to achieve avg 51.++ mpg.....just do the followings:

 

1) Change gear within 3,000 rpm,

2) Glide to stop ( Clutch in ),

3) Select correct gear according to speed

4) Lose weight to about 65kg without pillion ( wahaha )

5) Check tire pressure

 

I always travel along normal road with traffic jam in the morning to work....I still clock 51.++ avg mpg...

like aficakali mention is not difficult..try it out a few times u will get it. i dont use engine brake,only if i remove my baffle.if not the sound not shiok. and i know w/o engine braking to stop is dangerous at times but hell yeah i dont care..LOL

 

oh ya n let say when u r in 5 gear but ur speed is in ard 90km/hr but u feel u being tailgate by cw3..what would u do to speed up? drop on gear? or just open more throttle? i down gear to 4th gear.

 

as for meet up? terrybear u orgnising? wad time wad place? might not be able to make it.
