i reari feel like pulling them to the side n give them a gd earful....

I a driver myself n rider 2...

yet y are there still sum ass holes ard....

hogging the extreme right lane when the lane ahead is clear and the other lanes are clear....

or hogging till form a major snake behind him etc etc

Pls Extreme right lane is for OVERTAKING only & Vechile travel at high speed (USually TP Medicial services etc) or u noe us tat travel at high speed

Well it is a known fact that bike riders are on the losing end in the event of an accident.

 

My intent is to solicit your views on which drivers or riders for that matter... have you encountered in your daily commute in Singapore who due to their moronity caused you an accident or resulted in a near miss.

 

What I hope to achieve here is to provide our young budding 2B licence holders the data that would help them know the dangerous drivers to look out for and that would invariably improve their survival chances on the roads during their shaky learning phases.

Let me explain, kuai2 kind of women specially with big car, their poor car body judgement and expect other ppl to give way. In places like Hong Kong, the taxi are not allowed to STOP any place they like, e.g. near to traffic light, at road bends etc.

 

In Singapore, can I say that they are simply "Unstoppable" to stop at anyhere and most important at any given time.

what i cant stand abt drivers is that they like to enter the main road eventhough they see a biker is heading in the same lane. they try to keep to the iner lane but still, they should let all vehicles to pass before doing so.

I voted for bus drivers. Yes, taxi drivers and lady drivers are as dangerous. But what i don't like about bus drivers is that they know that you are there but they think that their bus is bloody huge and can just change lane and force you to brake for them. Almost died twice because of them. -.-

I've never have good impression of most Singaporean drivers anyway. However, those mainland Chinese drivers are the worst I've ever encountered.

for me are the merc and bmw drivers...damn arrogant...they will just cut into your lane even though they know that you are there and force you to the other lane....********..they think that they own the road and expects riders to siam one side for them to move... basically almost all the drivers that dun have a class 2b license are damn arrogant and F up!

 

there was one incident i met bout 1 year ago...till now still angry when i think about it...

 

I was at a traffic junction at ang mo kio ave 3, near the industrial park and caltax station, preparing to make a right turn . I was behind a couple of cars waiting for my turn to turn..den the right turn arrow came on. just when i was going to move off i heard someone horning continuosly behind me...so i stop and looked back...this idiotic driver just cut infront of me and make a u turn!!! WTF? he horned at me to ask me to stop and let him cut my queue? to make a u turn? wah was damned pissed man...till now i think of it..still very hot lor..if im in the states, i would had ride up to him and smash his windscreen, then drag him out and beat the hell out of him!!

Looks like taxi drivers have got the worst rating followed by women drivers.

 

So here's the advice to all new bike riders.........keep a distance from taxis.

Never never ride on the side of a taxi coz he's gonna side swipe you the moment he sees a potential passenger on the side of the road or he decided that there are more potential passengers on the other side so he makes a U turn.

 

I don't want to sound sexist but can you imagine what kind of deadly combination we are going to get if the taxi driver happens to be a woman???

 

this sounds so familiar... i think i have posted this here umpteen times but here it is again:

 

i was travelling on the right lane of this 2 laned road going towards bishan. this auntie cab driver was infront of me. suddenly she juz pick up and cut to the left lane to pick up some passengers. for some odd reason the passenger nv enter the cab. i suddenly had a feeling which told me to slow down abit, which i obeyed. my thumb also automatically moved to the horn. lucky i slowed down cos the stupid auntie taxi driver suddenly juz decided to do a u-turn, right there and then on the left lane. i immediately tam e-brake and blasted the horn. the auntie was so shocked that she stopped in the middle of the road instead of flooring the gas to get out of my way. as i said, i was lucky that something told me to slow down, cos i barely juz managed to stop my bike juz a inch outside her door. the kuku was looking at me with her mouth open like dunno wat retard or something. the b*tch still dunno how to move away until someone horned us then she snapped out of it and moved away. after i dropped my pillion off at bishan i juz sat at the bus-stop for like half an hour, the hands were like shaking non-stop at my near death experience....

 

so, moral of the story is, we, as riders, drivers even, aren't so free to stereotype drivers according to gender or type of vehicles, but taxis and lady drivers are the worst. combine the two together and u will get a harrowing experience or mebbie even death.
