Just came back from Planet. Met ah chong in person today! Wahahaha... met some other pk also. Anyway, asked ah chong to check my bike see if got anything else need repair and get it service. Ah chong did a few minor tweek on the chain and quoted me $35 for EO change. After everything done, he asked me to pay $15 before go home. ?!?!?!? Funny guy... Anyway, recommended for all bikers to go.

Went to Planet at 08:55am to be the first customer there, saw a very very familiar TA200 strolling in.

Also saw a very Stylo Milo TA150. It's mepkoh!!!! :

 

As usual, at 09:10am Ah Chong 'Bua Long Long' walked in, wearing a nicely ironed shirt and neatly pressed pants holding a brief case, Ma Chiam Big Boss going to his office...

But once inside, changed back to the usual dark blue Planet T-Shirt we know so well

 

Went there changed Engine oil, and spark plug.

After changing, we paid Ah Chong, Ah Chong said 'Charm Liao first 2 customer together, earn less than $20.'

 

This Ah Chong very comic one.

 

Before leaving I lube the chain, also saw gysmily, who explained how to put fibreglass into the exhaust to silent it, but also the consqeuences of how it will over stress the engine.

 

Definately will go back there next time.

Went to planet today, stayed there for 3 hours because they couldn't find stock!

 

But I'm entertained by Chong's jokes and didn't find it boring!!

would like to ask how much Ah Cheong charge for changing 3.2 litre of maxima extra EO & honda oil fiter for super 4 ? Do I have to pay for the extra litre or to buy the whole bottle ? Some workshop do offer FOC for the extra top up.

u have to buy 4 bottle, and keep the extra 0.8L.

 

engine oil and oil filter are standard price... i mean not much different from any other shop..

13th time at Planet Today.

13th time really is unlucky.

Hahaha!

 

Went there because Clutch Cable head snapped off last night around 10:40pm.

 

Went to the only Bike shop I can trust in Yishun.

But Lan Lan shop don't hold stock for Phantom Clutch cable.

 

Luckily Sham manage to come up with a way to DIY fix the cable using masking tape last night.

But it's only a Temp Solution so Called Ah Chong early in the morning.

And Rode to Planet after work

 

Wah Shop very pack!

 

The young Mech, Mark, came out and did the cable change outside in the light Drizzle.

In order not to get in the way, took my helmet off the handle bars and padlock it to the net on my box.

 

When he finished he rode 1 small U-turn, then notice the helmet and asked why my helmet on the box U-turn don't fall off one?

 

Told him the helmet know the owner mah!

Tell it to stay it will stay on the box!

 

After that also help to unscrew the rusted until I cannot open screw to top up the Brake fluid.

 

When Paying Ah Chong also very comic, still take the cardboard to list down all the items. 1 x clutch cable, 2 x screws, 1 x brake fluid top up

Machiam like very expensive like that but then suddenly drop the carboard on the table and said "$20!"

Machiam got actually charge money for the 2 screws!

 

Definately will go back to Planet for my 14th time!
