I posted to COI my yamaha 125z somewhere in Feb as I need lower petrol consumption. I made a deal with this guy who wanted to COI his Wave. He requested to view my bike at Forum SC as he was working. So I went and allow him to test ride while I did his too. As it was a short distance test in the basement carpark, I assume the bike is fine to ride.

 

On my first day, the ride was uncomfortable due to the fork. When ever I ride through a hump, the fork would make a scary sound. So eventually, I got it change to stock as well as the spocket for better performance. Not long after, I fixed sound system to my bike.

 

Somewhere in March, I head down to JB to change the engine oil and purchase some accessories. I then bump into the guy whom we exhange our bikes. He told me that the 125z was wrecked. He self skidded as he had fallen asleep while riding. The fork was gone and I assume if it was ever going to be in good condition again like how I use to ride it.

 

Since then, I had a feeling that this guy is suay. His Wave was uncomfortable that I guess it's the reason why he wanted to change his bike. Ended up, I guess he passed me the suay. The accessories on the bike fell while I was riding. I was contemplating whether the screw was loose or was it suay. Or maybe the guy is really suay.

 

About 3 weeks later in April, I met with hit and run accident with a car. It swerved to my lane causing me to skid and the Wave tyre alignment was slanting to the right. I rode with slanted wheels for 2 days before I got it changed. After I changed the fork and aligned it properly, the sound system in the bike gone haywire and I was miserable that this Wave is really suay! So I tried to call the guy but to no avail. He offed his hp. It's so depressing.

 

I then bought a new sound system for my bike which costs me $250, and guess what. As I was about to go to work as a part-time rider at Mac to support myself while I am pursuing my studies, the Wave was no where to be found. It was not even 24hrs since I purchase the new sound system. I search high and low for the bike and eventually I was late for work.

 

I panicked and was darn miserable that I run a high temperature. I called my kakis to search for my bike while I rode my bro's bike to work. I made a police report and wanted to go to insurance company to inform. Before I head down to the head office, I called up to enquire. They advised that owner has to be there which apparently is him.

 

I was so upset that yesterday on May Day, I decided to head down to his place at Jurong West. Imagine I am staying in the east and had to drag my butt down by train. It was so painful without a bike. I wanted to tell him about the incident. But it happened as what I might have guessed.

 

It was him who took back his bike. I was surprised as he proclaims last Feb that he doesn't have spare keys. How could he do this to me? Why didn't he call to talk to me first? My kakis were with me and we asked him to explain to us but he ended up running away to work. We head down to Forum SC to confront him.

 

My fren almost landed his fist on this f**ker's face. He was so scared that he kept avoiding and running away from us. He claims that my 125z is easily spoilt and now the piston is jammed, therefore he needs this Wave to go to work. I didn't believe him cos for 8mths when I had rode it, it never had broke down on me before. To my conclusion, this guy is really really suay. Even if he is desperate for a bike, he could have come forward and inform me. It was childish.

 

His head is now on the platter waiting for karma to strike him. I shall not do anything as it holds no benefits to me. I shall let fate play its role in this. But to all SBF members, please look out for such scams, which I feel I was in. Do not let yourself leave without any bike. It's really painful as I need a bike to support myself. It is now stuck at Jurong West unable to ride.

i threw away the certificate of insurance where there was his address.. but i was too mad that i did not to ever see it again. now i wonder if he would get my 125z repaired after he suay suay make it jammed. hiyah.... what should i do if he doesn't compensate me? or at least get the bike repaired.

u have the key to the wave rite..y not u take it??

 

if he really insists tat it is his.. take ur sound system away and sell it and gtet ur bike repaired.

 

seriously..if i were you..i would take back the 125z and sent it for repair..

 

his wave i would also take back and stat changing all the accesories tat i have on!

 

take them off and start selling them..at least can recoup your losses..

 

better still, if have the spoilt parts, fix them back.. and give itback to him..

dismantle his bike. bring all the parts to bike shop and sell. get the money from it and repair your 125z.

we just exchange as subriders. i have kakis too help me out on this. they live there too. maybe burn his bike. but nah... i'm not as mean as him and i will not stoop to his level for vengeance. 125z still belongs to me. If I cannot get back my back the way it was, I definitely will have to seek legal advise for this breach of trust.

I have taken away my sound system, from the speakers, amp to the batteries. Too bad all the spoilts parts were thrown away as they definitely will not help. It's too spoilt that it won't work.. My kakis are helping me out to get send for repairs. The only thing that is left is his suspensions. Haha! But Im sure his bike will be missing. He'll know what's it like. I have sources to that I can depend on. But definitely I will hunt him down for compensation.

There was no paperwork agreement. The documents that we have is only certificate of insurance. Me as his subrider and him as my subrider. I know that this is a lesson to learn. He did buang my bike before and I indeed cannot do anything. He did the repairs.

 

So from now onwards, must be the owner of the bike and insurance. Even if its going to cost a bomb.

 

I do regret for putting him as a subrider to my 125z. It could have been that he is too cheapskate to buy 2T that the piston jammed. I dunno how long I'd be on foot before I overhaul the 125z. I made his wave like mine and now he sees that it is in good condition already so he can take back. Hiyah......

 

I hate to think bout it but what to do. Every time go school by bus sure think of the incident.

If there's no paperwork then simple.

1) take back your 125, throw the wrecked up wave back to him minus all the parts that you've installed on the bike(especially the forks)

 

2) Immediately change the lock and ignition on the 125 or buy a heavy duty lock to lock the rims.

 

3) Do not pay for his installments and carry on for your own bike. Cancel him from your insurance as subrider.

 

4) Tell him politely that if anything were to happen to your bike from now on, you'll "promise" that something twice as bad will happen to him.

 

You'll lose abit of money but at least you'll have alot less trouble after that.
