Hi bikers

After 2+ months of getting my license, feels that all those skills such as pylon slalom, plank is seldom used, mostly forward riding only. Furthermore, being a kiasee myself, I set out earlier toavoid jams. So, a bit concern that my skill is going down. What do u think? Any way to improve?

Got... Click on the street smart link at the bottom of ym signature. There is a HOV safety ride at the end of the thread.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

You should ride in traffic jams, then should lane split all that...then i think your skills will improve....correct me if I am wrong here..

Since you have passed your lesson and got your license to ride on the road , now improve it by doing the defensive riding. those pylon skill are for tester to test how good you control your bike and you should be doing well now. these is wat i do to improve my skill.... before approaching red light, control your bike while it still moving forward w/o puting your both legs down until it turns green so as to test your balancing skill and anticipation of traffic light.

next is practice figure 8 with those biker friend you have.By do figure 8 it will improve your agillity but Safety Come First :thumb:

another way is to pay money. there's refreshment course available at driving schools. but i believe tat real time skills on rd r much better tan wat we learn in schools under controlled situations.

Yup, I agreed with hwf. Another skill improvement is to go track like pg or sepang where you ride like mad rider but focus and reaction is crucial especially on enter corner. Your judgement must be fast as how and when to apply braking on how much pressure on it, gearing what gear suitable on what type of corner and focus on other racer. What had mention here is bike speed are fast, VERY VERY fast and again your reaction all must be very fast. WARNING please do not try this on road (ONLY TRACK USE) another word DONT SPEED. Bet you, you will feel/see the diffrent. GOOD LUCK.:thumb:

Best way to improve riding skills is .... to join as instructor in driving centre. that way u can see all the mistakes we humans will make when we learn how to ride. and because u have to correct and take care of them, u will at the same time improve urself.

just ride dun think too much :o

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.
