i usually mix it with caltex 98... abit of both is pretty good for pick up and performance... =) mileage doesn't really bother me, as long as it stays above 30km/l...

Dream , i suggest u try out the following see got improve anot...

1) Keep speed below 100. Best is 70+ only.

2) Remove side box and keep a small top box.

3) Pump front to 230 and rear to 260 , and do it weekly. ( Please check if your tyres can take this pressure)

If you try the above 3 and FC is still below 32...i suggest u go planet :cheeky:

i got a question, will the engine (or anything else) be damaged if i constantly pump v-power? because after trying out all the petrol that singapore has to offer, i felt that v-power gave me the most satisfaction.

please advise.

i duno. i think i read somewhere before, just that i forgot where exactly. it goes somewhere along the line that the petrol too good for the engine then the engine will "age" faster? so just wana confirm.

Just went JB Shell, price is back up to 1.8RM/L and they have added 2 speed humps on the narrow lane 200m before shell entrance, so riders watch your speed there.

doubt it affects the engine negatively..

v-power is a treat to the engine..

if really afraid den perhaps pump something more inferior..

98 or something.. den once in awhile pump v-power lor..

if engine knock is evident...u need to use higher octane petrol..or else engine failure may occur..

v power is super octane grade...your phantom is helping you to burn $$$$ only.

the phantom compression ratio is 9.0...use octane 92 should be okay. the rule of thumb ..above 10 copmress ratio use 95 octane and above, below 10 compression ratio use 92.

using higher octane = burning $$$

this reminded me ..all of you are concern with FC...yet havent heard from anyone the lowest cost $/km ..for 92? 95? 98?...should make interesting reading
