Currently pumping Esso/Mobil 98(green)...

Used to pump 95(red) from September06 to January07. Changed to 98(green) in February this year.

Difference felt was that, 98 lesser noise and smoother ride...

Shell 95 and 98..the difference is 98 have more power... Based on the comments above...if want good FC have to make way for power..vis versa...

I use Caltex Techron 95, personal preference, use 95 instead of 98 it is because 95 is cheaper, secondly it's more than enough power for the requirement (according to the owner's manual is Octane 92) and when ever I travel to malaysia, I will use Caltex Techron Gold, since it is cheaper in malaysia plus the advantage of exchange currency rate.

I usually pump shell 98 but if its really true that 95 is better then i'll guess i will be changing to 95 then, the price difference is quite significant.

i tried it.. and with my bike i can feel a significant diff in perfomance! after pumping 95 it feels less responsive and sounds also a bit more "rough" give it a try yourself, but i'll stay at 98. also tried esse inbetween .. even worse oO

greets

ben

using caltex techron 95... give me an avg of 40km/L.

yeah, using Vpower or shell 98 has better performance than using 95, if just for normal ride, 95 do just fine... i have switch back to 98 and v power (alternate pumps) now, and im still able to achieve 37-39km/litre FC.

yeah thats the news i read from : http://motoring.asiaone.com.sg/owners/20070428_001.html
