Heyz,

Any of you guys changed the fuel line under the helmet bay before? I am going to "attempt" to do it myself, and is the line the same diameter as the fuel line that goes to the carb? And can I buy a length of tubing from LAB?

Cheers...

Hello Everyone. How's everyone doing?

Daniel - Yo! Thought u changed the fuel line already?? The fuel line diameter Im not sure but make sure u get good quality ones that will last. To fix yourself, shouldn't be difficult but don't think can be done in half an hour type. Need to disassemble the helmet compartment first.

Twisterx - Steady lah... new tyres. But don't think you'll cup any corner. haha...

Randy - Pai seh. the other time didn't turn up for the scoot meet. gf thingy. And of course, do let us know if u gonna jio ppl go JB. If im available, i wanna go also. Will change my shock too. haha...

Hi all, I am intending to buy either a 2nd hand one or a 1st hand unit DNA (if there are any available from dealers??). If it is a 2nd hand one, what are the things to look out for?

If there are 1st hand units, please advise me where to find? And what kind of price we are looking at.:help:

Yea...true.

I use V-Power. Only S$11.88 for full tank.

Say you use Ron 95. The bike tank is only about 9 litres.

The difference in pricing between Ron92 and V-Power is about say... 17cents?

So for every tank, difference only about S$1.50.

something to think about...

wat if u add up one month petrol and compare the price?

hee

Hi, ok. how much are you looking at? Can I have more details and price?

I can be contacted at 98802282. So there are no Brand new units to purchased or lying around somewhere in some dealers?

Yup...you have a point there....

Let's see...

Every full tank the difference is about S$1.50.

1 tank can last me for about 1.5 weeks...cos i travel very little.

Okie...let's just put it 5 days per full tank (good estimate)?

Every month 6 full tanks (30 days divide by 5).

6 x S$1.50 = S$9.00

1 year is only about S$108.00 difference if pump V-Power as compared to Ron92. :cheer: :giddy:

Well, I'm not promoting Shell petrol though.. *Disclaimer* :giddy: :cheer:

Basic thing for me is, it's a bike. So difference not too much as compared to car... For my car, I only pump Ron95. Haha...

Heyz,

Ya, quite a lot of bike thefts these days, they mostly fall into 2 categories...

1) Steal and joy ride, then ditch the bike somewhere...

2) Steal and cannibalise the whole bike...

These people deserve to die horrible deaths, or get caught at road block...

Sometimes I don't understand, cash card IU unit can open and see if got card inside, is it that some people are so hard up for a few $$$? Anyway, I make sure I keep an eye out for your "ride" bro... And I will hamtam the bugger riding it!!!

Bro,

The first one is really true.

And quite a lot get caught at roadblocks. The only thing is, TP has so few people. So many a times, when you see a roadblock, it's not by TP. It's usually by the Neighbourhood Police Centre guys. They usually look out for illegal activities such as wanted people rather than vehicular stuff.

But then again, bike theft is quite big for them too. So it's a good catch.

Hmm...i guess they are occupied with the fake problems....

Esp when people call police for things like looking for lost dog, illegal parking, missing maids, or being locked out of their houses as they forgot their keys.

Well, the police are suppose to be supermen anyway....can double up as locksmiths... :giddy:

So too busy lor....:cheeky:

Ha, that's true you know?? Ppl regard police as superman! Whenever any1 come into any trouble, the moment they see a police, its like them seeing a saviour.. haha..

That night at the NPP, within an hour and half time span, I seen the police on duty picking up countless phonecalls on Pizza Hut riders loitering, teens gathered at void deck blah blah blah.. ha.. They're really so darn busy on sat nights..

cheers
