kns... u crack me up. Its so unlike her right? haha.. but like she suggested, she didn't even go beyond 90km/h in actual speed la. So the race should be put in proper perspective.

Today while riding, came across a road block.. first time came across one when im riding m y own bike.. fun ahakz.. me n grp of frens.. all slowed down.. then one by one d officer wave to use to move off.. except my last frend.. d officer look up n down and den he was aso asked to move off.. ahakz.. so excited.. men in blue.. *wash eyes*

Eh. Like i said, i was jus "racing" to me.. going above 90 is considered racing aredi.. LOL.. coz im alwys slow on d roads.. and going above 90 makes me feel like i achieved sumthing.. LOL. Thats all lah. Anyway, ride safely all

b careful guys if u wanna speed above 100+. recently my younger bro received a letter frm TP for speeding. he exceed more thn 120+ at SLE. due to gr8t power of KTM 600 motard. thts wat he said. so watch out for hidden TPs..

I realised that this two days of CNY, drivers are damn terrible on the road.

 

I have lorries and buses doing 100km/h and above, cars cutting me off my lane in slip roads and i even have camrys behaving like motorbikes, going on the lane marking and overtake me. (I was on lane 2 and there was a car on lane 1).

 

What the hell... i am still trying to gain back confidence in riding after my accident (rear ended by a van) barely a month ago and the roads seemed to get worse and worse with each passing second.

 

And where are the damn TEEE PEEES??!!!

Thats more than 30 kph above the speed limit.

Today while sitting on my dad's lorry, we stopped at a junction. Saw an uncle riding a cub without helmet and going into the expressway!!

 

What was he thinking man? Stolen bike?

Nice night ride home, traffic was clear. However, the ride was so smooth, that halfway, i realised that i didn't take notice of the side roads leading to the main road that I was riding on. Actually I only became aware, when i saw a car merging with my lane.

Became too complacent.... Never learn from my past mistake...

just now at 2:50AM

while i was on my way home through CTE, saw the aftermath of an accident involving a car and an X8 or X9 at lane 3, in the turnal near the Outram exit. the rider seems to sustain an injury, although i m not sure how severe, cos i had to stopped for the ambulance coming out n sped away n exit at outram rd to SGH i supposed.

the distance the car and the fallen bike was about 10-20m. the bike was dark silver FY plate and had its box's contents fallen out all over.

 

hope the rider is ok.. hope he recover fast..

and after that.. i rode home slowly..

on my way back from work juz now at abt 2030hrs..witness a near miss at jalan buroh traffic junction..the traffic light juz turned green fer me to move off...i always looked both ways before proceeding..

 

i noticed this car..speedin like hell heading in my direction..(i think it's lewis hamilton wannabe inside)..i decide to not to move off and relax first and see if he manages to break in time..coz behind me no vehicle..

 

suddenly another car was coming up along side me..i was in the middle lane and the car was in the first lane..i guess the driver didn't suspect anything when she noticed me not moving off when the traffic lights in my favor and i guess she didn't have the habit to slow down when reaching junctions...

 

the speeding car..as u would have guessed...beat the red light..plowing straight thru it as if it wasn't there...the next thing i heard was screeching breaks...smell of burnt tires..horns..

 

then my brain manages to register what had jus happened...i was lucky enuf to be spared an eyewitness of wat would have surely been a fatal hit and run accident...the speeding car missed the front of the car that was along side me by miliseconds (i think so)..

 

the driver was so shocked..she stopped at the bus stop in front and got out and sat at the bus stop..took out her cig and start smoking...(like SOP..take out cig and tarik a deep one..whenever survive near miss.. )

 

i stopped in front of her and asked her if she was ok...she was stammering when she talked to me..i knew then she was in shock..even her hands holdin the cig was trembling...she started crying den la...

 

i dunno wat to do siah..i told her best not to drive..get someone she knows who can do that to drive her home..i hang ard fer a while..dunno wat to say or do..coz she was def in shock..i asked her to contact someone to drive her home...i think she contacted her husband coz i heard her say 'loa gong'...after i ensured she's fine and slightly calmer i rode off...

 

pls fellow riders..when approaching junctions (be it controlled, or even worse, uncontrolled...)always slow down and check fer oncoming traffic...pls...even though the traffic light/road conditions are in our favor...
