This is what emboldens jaywalkers. They can just cross the road and pin the blame on the driver that hits them.

Two possibilities can happen out of this...

 

One: The TP will let you go with a warning.

 

Two: The TP will fine you for "Failing to maintain a proper look out while operating a vehicle or failing to have proper control of your vehicle".

 

I know the second possibility sucks but be prepared for it, just in case.

 

Not trying to be insensitive at a time like this but like they say, I have "been there, done that and got the T-shirt".

 

Yup, I've joined the Been There, Done That club. Met up with the Investigating Officer on Wednesday and he told me the same thing. So next month I'll lose $200 and add 6 demerit points to my license for being at the wrong place and wrong time! @#$@$%$^

geylang's the place to test your riding skills...

 

I tend to agree with you. I go past Geylang everyday to and from work... and in the process, feel that my slow riding technique has improved. Then again, I almost killed a few pedestrians along the way, and also kena a bus lane summons. Actually peak hour for Geylang is deeper into the night. The just after work rush hour is actually quite navigable... traffic is slow but still moves. When it gets later... total gridlock, when the birds come out to play.

cornering is something i always do with caution no matter what the traffic condition is whether got vehicle behind me or not always go with this approach

this morning, i found out one of my mirror got stolen..

i m so damn pissed that i cant even concentrate at work now. ARGH!!!

if its the original mirror and someone needed one side, i understand and i wont be so pissed cos i can get it back easily..

but this one is i sourced it out for sometimes n bought it quite ex.. if wanna steal.. steal both la..

some ppl no life.. cant get a job? damn sian

try searching ard ur neighbourhood.. there is ony guy in my carpark lost his steed for 10days and found it back near queensway. he know cos he kana summon letter from hdb i think..

sometimes i feel that we might as well indicate our name like graving our name on all our items, if lost and we saw one item that was engrave with our name, just ride over and give that rider a kick and stop next to him when he falls, unscrew our items and say bye bye to him..

 

Some stealers really doesn't deserve a second chance.. I'm broke also but no choice... work and earn and buy the things you wan for your bike.. it's part of life... Steal is not part of it, it's a habit and you might get killed for it as people who loved their bike saw you going to steal his bike, he might just grab a hammer and wack the stealer's leg..

 

REMEMBER STEALERS... YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE A SECOND CHANCE...

there is nothing more satisfying than saving up and buying the items that u like.. it really make me feel i reall really work/earn for it.. (unlike some low-life thieves)

if i see my mirror on other bike, i confirm know its mine cos its quite unique (n the fella stole only one side). so far havent see it on other bikes yet. (rectangular, small mirror, gold in colour, blue tinted glass, heavy n solid)

 

now, i m in doubt if i shall buy another pair of unique mirrors.. hai..
