well... what to do... i was knocked down while riding in my own lane on AYE lane 3... the guy claimed i was lane splitting and hit him instead.

 

after 6mths, TP closed the case and left the insurance to fight it out. due to lack of eye-witness, evidence... become a 50 - 50 case... smlj sia.

 

riding is on the losing end one lah... his ****ing van only a small scratch, my then 4 mth old scoot was badly scratched and still have to suffer the injuries.. and also don't think will 100% win the case liao. wonder if that idiot can even sleep soundly at night after saying such a lie..

was heading to woodlands on a sunday evening, travelling via tpe/sle. approximate time was 1830hrs, so traffic was very light at that point of time.was riding (i ride an autoscoot for your info) on the overtaking lane as i was going quite fast and realised i was tailgated by a WISH. didn't increase my speed as i was going really fast already so i did another check on my mirror, was about to filter to the 2nd lane and guess what? the car accelerated and squeezed past me on the right in the SAME lane! i filtered to the 2nd lane and checked that there wasn't any vehicles on the other lanes so why couldn't he move over to the other lanes instead? maybe it was my fault too for riding on the overtaking lane but i had my reasons because there were a few vehicles that i had to overtake. but tailgating and squeezing past me at a very high speed and in the same lane on a WISH? no way.

 

 

If you really have to use the 1st lane, make sure you don't block vehicles traveling behind you.

If the driver keep a safe distance, you'll happily ride at your speed, then he'll be ' block' behind you. Yes speed limit is 90km/h, but it's not your road, you're just another road user, why cause inconvenience to others?

 

The road is clear and traffic is light, there's no reason for you to use the 1st lane. You know it's for over-taking, but I say it's your negligence to check for faster traffic coming up from behind. Not that what the driver is is right though.

reached bendeemeer ERP.... saw the lights still on... haha... had a shock...

 

apparently i didnt read the changes in ERP timing...

Was riding on ECP towards changi juz now & saw an accident involving a few bikes & a car. it was exactly near the new gantry beside the marina project. the jam stretched till KTM sia. but manage to see a black bike on the 4th lane,an x1 on the shoulder and RXZ on the 2nd lane.

Young P-plater SP rider with pillion (orange and white bike) just came charging out of the reservoir-side filter road, without signal, or checking behind and nearly clipped me. I was in the middle of 3 lanes, and this blind rat just came out of the filter and straight into the center lane.

 

Tsk tsk. If I hadn't closed throttle earlier in anticipation of that noob move, my front tyre would have probably contacted your rear and sent you and your pillion sliding helter skelter across the tarmac.

 

 

Hint, noob. Check your blind spot and signal, plus also enter the leftmost lane first before filtering out.

was on my way to BKE at dairy farm with my pillion to JB, then met a guy on a cbr150, he was waving about and slowing down and picking up. Felt kinda drunk to me at first I thought he felt offended that I overtook him when he was kinda hogging the left lane. Hope he reaches his destination in one piece. FBB 5***

I can understand a mistake. But if he was trying to show off or be a hero on the road, it's a whole different thing altogether. Like I said, he had a pillion onboard, and no matter how fuucked I think he is as a rider, I'm not gonna put his pillion in any danger.

yesterday got taxi jam brake n i almost hit the bumper, mind u tat i got following distance but the taxi drive fast n sudden jam brake includes using handbrake+brake pedal, i was so angry tat i confronted him n shouted at him, then he say got car in front anyhow drive n even ask y i ride fast(not even reaching speed limit hor)then i ask y he anyhow jam brake n ask him y nv horn the driver(if really exist) but the taxi driver say he dunno how to horn n then moves off quickly, i think 2 more sec he will get a bloody face:mad:

It sucks to know but you are actually in the wrong.

 

You can say what you want to say but should you have actually impacted the taxi... in the eyes of the law.... you "failed to maintain a proper look out whilst operating a vehicle".

 

And then if the TP feel generous... they may add "failure to maintain proper control of vehicle".

 

And if the taxi driver had ended up with a bloody face... the police can add "battery and assault' to the the charges too.

 

Please don't ever let your emotions or ego take over your ride.
