yes! that's the word!!! priceless feeling! and they will scramble all over to siam! but if old people, don't do that! they will just cross without looking at traffic conditions. they got more balls than you do. if you horn, later heart attack. how? also cannot.

i usually give way to those jaywalkers. me gentle balless rider. I only fear those who suddenly dash out, personally encountered a cyclist who cycled across the road quite fast, near jurong east swimming pool there, just before the speed cam. kinda shocking

The children cyclist especially; those with their bicycles modded to look like a bike with bits and pieces of RXZ's fairings. They just swerve here and there thinking that they are kids, we motorist will give way no matter what.

was travelling along amk towards marymount this morning when this BMW was tailing me abt 1/2 a metre behing my arse at abt 70km/h.

i turn ard n wave him to keep a further distant but still he kept tailing.

am real pissed off so at a traffic light i stop kick down sidestand got off n went to the car ask him to wind down window.

i asked him what's the prob? why is he keeping so close to my arse? n asked him if i need to E-brake n he kiss my arse, who is gonna be injured?

 

he then apologise n said it did not come to his mind....

haiz... sad manz.... drive big n nice car but never think of other's safety...

And today... a Super4 thought I was trying to test pickup with him.. so he overtook me and rev his engine and started weaving in and out of the traffic along Serangoon Road at high speed expecting me to chase him.

sometimes cant blame them also le .. maybe they dont know what you're going to do next? like me yesterday, i wanted to cross over to taka from lucky plaza side. i stood in the center of the lane, nearly kena knocked down by a van. because i dont know whether the van slowing down to stop and let me pass , or the van just going to continue at the same speed.

 

in my mind was "oh sheeat ! turn back , or run forward ... turn back , or run forward ... "

 

must slap myself and remind myself to use the pedestrian crossing next time.

Too boring la the AYE/CTE stretch. Sunday is always a nice day to get on AYE towards CTE and chiong especially at 10am. I think next week I will count how many cars I overtake before reaching my destination since very few cars are on the out that time of the day.

end of last yr, on the way back from camp, on the slip road from bke going to sle, theres this ahpek he ard 100m in front of me. squeezing between cars and lorries. then i saw him hit the road works tipper truck with the 'safety' bumper parked on the chevron markings. i was a cd fire and rescue specialist back then so i tot ild stop and render assistance. skali reach the ahpek see...his lower body is facing downwards...upper body facing up...his torso like twisted. face is like mince meat like that but can see the eyes still open. wah lau. i cabot sia. i scared help later at night get nightmare

anyone tried not horning at a mass crowd jaywalking? and sped up instead towards them? i tried this experiment once and it worked wonders!!!

 

why so? cos everytime i horn at the crowds, they look at me and just jaywalk normally expecting me to slow down for them. happened so many times until one fine sunny day when i felt like killing those people down on orchard road. instead of horning at them, i just revved hard towards them. oh boy! when they heard the sound of my lousy 4 stroke pipe, they looked up. but when they realised that i sped up instead of slowing down for them, it was madness and chaos. most just decided to run forward while some were undecided to stop or rush forward or step back. to those indecisive people, i gave a little wobbly action and they really stepped back very2 far to avoid me. after that, me and my pillion laughed so hard thinking about their reactions. very chaotic and surprised. anyway, i got my fingers readied to jam brake if got one kuku decided to stand in my path.

 

Haha... i did that before too!!! But must be sure to have your fingers and right leg on front and rear brakes respectively. Just can't stand pedestrians who take their own time to walk as if they are cat-walking...

Happens to me a lot at Jalan Merah Saga (Chip Bee Gardens) 'cos a lot of cars come out of the side roads not expecting anyone.

 

Even then on the main roads, some cars try to chiong out and slow down to change lanes. Those are the ones that makes me mad. Can wait for me to pass and then come out, right?

Suddenly... my bike.. "THUD"... i tot engine stall... (riding auto scooter).

 

Turn around.... saw the reason of the "THUD".

 

Middle Age Couple... sitting in their Mini SUV... happily chit chatting... didnt realised that they already let their car roll until hit my bike!

 

Turn around and gesture to them. Still dunno wtf happened.

 

I pointed to his bonnet and my bike backside.

 

Then he finally saw that my bike was stopping his car from rolling forward further!

 

Sit on my bike and quickly assessed no damages. Scold for 3-5 secs ask him open his eyes.

 

Light turned green... went off....

 

 

Sometimes i really wonder where the hell are their brains.

cycling madly, thinking they can go faster than those cars/bus/bikes zooming past ...

this one dunno they really2 very brave, or just their brains suddenly went missing..

Today i attened the HOV session conducted by endlessloop, Pplater, Antartica, ContraRIAN.. and many others forgot their nicks... THANKS GUYS FOR A FANTASTIC SHARING SESSION!! Really learn alot!! Now when i get on a bike i use the "fighter pilot radar" mentality to scan for dangers!

btw, something to fess up. On the way back having an easy ride home, I was at the left side of lane 1. This black honda civic cut me on the right dangerously. It had shaken me up abit and I was furious and chased after him. Kept telling myself to not lose sight of the car.

 

He continued to sped above 150kmph and I was behind by 3-4 cars. I find the empty lanes, signal & blindspot while going at 120-130kmph. Kept changing lanes till I found him again exiting clementi rd at high speed. I was hoping for the light to be red at the junction and it was.

 

I came up next to him, with my visor and build in sunshade down, I kept looking at the idiot. He turned once to look at me and I gave him the finger before squeezing to the front of the line.

 

In my head at the front of the line, I was visualizing what can happen if he caught up to me once the light turns green and got out of his car.. All sorts of scenarios were running thru my head. Lucky for me he didnt give chase.

 

So I continued to travel home and was thinking how rash my actions were. Kinda regret what I did now..
