Today while riding... the MRT:

 

The train was almost empty with plenty of seating and standing room. This guy in his mid thirties got on the train and insisted on standing very close to me.

 

The ironic, or perhaps humourous thing is... he had a wife and toddler in tow. He was rather rude to her the whole journey.

 

Shouldn't get married in the first place?!

Today at petrol kiosk saw a cute lady on cb400 filling petrol n pumping tires... Got problem with the air pump, ask me how I manage to pump my tires with that air pump... Actually wanted to help her pump but paisei like wan to ban men nong fu...

I saw a guy riding a 2b bike and eating double cheeseburger while riding (:

Also that day I saw this guy mount a camera on his bike and while riding he was taking pictures (: and looking at his camera instead of the road, too good!!!

That day whilst riding I was in the slowest lane, and being closely followed by this taxi, so I just moved abit to the edge of the lane and waved him to overtake me. He waved back and slowed down and didn't tailgate anymore. (:

8+pm, at [bras Basah -> Raffles Boulevard] X [Nicoll Highway] junction. stopped at the former side of traffic., relac jack, ba long long..

 

scarlee a STUPID cager that had stopped decided the red light was too long and decided to beat it... ... ... SLOOOOOOOWLYYYYYYYYY..

 

 

There was another FAST!! cager incoming along Nicoll Highway and horned the sh!t outta him, missed each other by half a bike's length..

 

the perpetrator siam into suntec and disappeared. ninja.

Today while riding, at the junction of serangoon garden way and yio chu kang road. I was waiting to make a right turn into SGW, behind me no car. Suddenly got one black toyota estima (SJK4*U) ah soh driving eat into my lane leh.... and i am close to the car infront....

 

I look into the cockpit see the ah soh give me buddah palm "sorry sorry excuse me let me in"..... basket behind dono how to queue up must cut me until like that?? So i return her one beggar palm.... wtf wtf wtf... which only succeeded in making her buddah palm faster and furiouser... "i already say sorry la now let me cut in!!!"

 

As i was in a good mood today, i gave her the sweeping hand motion, "aiya go la go la.... go and f@#$ yourself"

idiot driver back on the roads after 4 days off the roads..

 

heading to work and was along telok blangah way heading to henderson. cruising down to the junction which was showing red light. i was on the right lane..

 

1 flatbed lorry tried to squeeze into my lane from the left.. i horned once at him, he signaled and continue to squeeze in. i was already 1/2 length into his vehicle and he continue to squeeze in.. i horned all the way until i came up to his side. and gave him the finger..

 

he just show me, HEY I SIGNAL HOR!

 

nbz.. signal doesn't mean i have to give way to you, idiot. SIGNAL = INTENTION TO CHANGE LANE, NOT RIGHT OFF WAY.

In Singapore, signal lights are used like laser guns. Notice how people turn before signaling! Half the time they don't even bother to think ahead, checking blind spots or adjusting to optimal relative speed before making a maneuver. Hence lots of unnecessary swerving, and lane-hogging occurs.

 

It appears hiding one's true intentions is the fastest way to change lanes and overtake if you're on a fast bike

 

(which is sad but true - there are many motorists who deliberately block motorcyclists' paths for cheap thrills)

 

And riding "comfortably" within lane boundaries is an high art indeed!

hypothetical scenario : say you're travelling on the expressway and there's a *ahem* white car in lane 1. Lane 2 is clear by a long stretch.

 

Do you

 

1) Accelerate up close behind the *whitie* and tailgate so he'll change to lane 2. Problem is, he's travelling at the legal limit and if you manage to reach him, technically you're speeding.

 

2) Follow behind guai guai, while other cars tailgate you.

2a) Drop into lane 2 when cars tailgate, but problem is other cars are coming up in lane 2 too. lane 3 is full of heavy gravel-trucks spitting bullets off their cargo.

 

3) Overtake the *whitie* on the left going via lane 2. Thing is, to overtake the fella on the left, means you got to be travelling faster than him, which means speeding. (Maybe it's a trap?) Or overtake very very very slowly, slower than paint dries.

 

And, for the kicks of it, do what most aggressive people do

4) High-beam the s*** outa the fella and overtake on the left, then go in front and jam brake.

 

For the moment, ignore the fact that the *whitie* is road-hogging.
