most drivers appreciate the effort when you signal them that their headlights aren't switched on.. and give a wave of thanks..

 

plus it is safer for all other road users..

 

but yesterday night, 1 cock driver must have some sh|T in his head.. a gentle horn and signal to him that his lights weren't on, and all i get in return was 'WTF you wan' wave..

 

come'on dude, i'm just trying to be nice and prevent you from getting a summon should you bump into a TP for driving without headlights on.

This rider i think on scrambs also did e same horn and hand signal. So i understand and on high beam. Wve thanks then he ride off le.

been 'alerting' drivers whom forgot to on their headlights for years.. it's not for my own safety, nor theirs, but for all road-users.

maybe such drivers think bikers are of a lower income group thus even we are doing them a favour they wont ( bow down) and heads remain high up.

Don't worry. Bikers also got chance to look down on drivers. Especially those who go to petrol kiosks and buy 10 dollar worth of petrol. And especially so those who buy a car and steal customers cars petrol for their own use. Some drivers live outside their own means, which is not the usual case with us bikers.

My car e low beam is really low. But in terms of my own ability to see e road is enough. But if is someone look at me from rear mirror is just 2 small light. Similar to some of e cls 2 bike, when u turn key got e guiding light.

 

But in sg e street light so many and so bright so can c e whole of my car already. So even if headlight no on, still can c e car behind. But becoz of law so i on low beam.

 

Now i just on high beam lo. Becoz so many bobo road users.

sometimes i borrow my friend cars they oversea , i use liao then top up back for the lo. and most of the time they already full tank.. i onli use and warm up to nearby places ..

Today while riding around 10pm, along PIE towards jrng near eunos, a red ducati diavel with stupiak loud pipes n a stupiak rider wearing a stupiak "Revenge" helmet, riding stupiakly suddenly out of nowhere cut onto my lane fking dangerously n started to change lanes like e road belongs to his father... In one instance e mf cant lanesplit then go n revs his stupiakly loud pipes n tot e drivers wud give way to him.. Fat hope !! In e end im still ahead of him enjoying my ride.... Lolzzz... Ultimate Idiot !!! Kudos to Revenge for having a retard as their member.. *Big Clap lah*

I dunno where u got dat facts but having it for 9 mths now i certainly dun have any issues with it... Besides e 4500km touring dat ive done to Thailand, ive clocked 13000km in sg bro.. Rode it daily without any issues of bogging n i dun have to keep it a certain rpm to feel e smoothness... Fyi e 6th gear on tis bike is OD - OverDrive gear, travelling at 110km/hr n e rpm only just above 3000... Everything stock n it will remain that way... Even though ive own it for awhile but it have always keep me smiling when im riding her ...

hummm, maybe the way i ride it is wrong, jus felt that a certain rpm , the bike like laggy .

It's not can or cannot. Unlike your case where you borrowed your friends car. Some buy car so people can see that they have car. But they cannot see that the car doesn't have petrol. And some of these fella esp those who work in garages steal petrol from customers car and transfer to their own. How's that?

That poor dude even got caught. Well. U know what happens next. The whole point I was trying to make was car drivers need not look down on riders just because our vehicles are considerably cheaper. Know also that some car drivers live out of their means. Pay through their noses.

Its because drivers with no motorbike knowledge nor licence thinks our parts are cheap. Many times I have heard and seen incidents whereby these drivers fork out 10 or 20 dollars to compensate the rider for accidentally 'bumping' into them and causes damage to the bike.

Was on 2nd lane at about 85kph..

 

spotted this mini cooper SK* 184 driven by this young chap coming up fast on my mirrors. Then he proceeded to tailgate me. I thought I road hogging so want to change lane, but given the close proximity, want to change lane also dangerous. So i proceeded straight and maintained my speed.

 

When i just pased another biker (he was on the 3rd lane) the mini cooper just swerved from my behind and cut DAMN F**KING close between me and the other biker. I think he was closer to the other biker, as the rider swerved and almost went into the road shoulder.

 

Since traffic so light, and no car on the right lane, use it to over-take la, since it's an over-taking lane. if I road-hogging, horn me la, I'll gladly give way to you, you need to purposely tailgate and then cut so damn close to us bikers meh?

I'm not going to curse you, but if you continue to drive like that, you WILL most likely cause some father, mother, sibling to lose their precious ones.

I ever encounter before i was on lane 2 and lane 3 got a bike. We both happen to be in e middle of our lanes and we were parrellel to each other for a short moment. In tat short moment a car cut between us. ._. (i was middle slightly right and e other bike was middle slightly left of his lane)

follow him all the way, then when he stop at traffic light .u take out your key and scratch his car as u ride pass him
