today while riding,

 

ECP along Marina Bay Sands, comfort taxi tailgating me very fast. we are reaching speeds of 100kph, he sticking to my ass like my ex gf.

 

I quickly move to next lane gap and let him go first, but not before i point at him and did the "you are dead" sign. he continue tailgating the next car about 100 metres ahead, then i heard "BANG!"

 

Kua Kua, kiss backside liao. I happy happy ride past. hahahaha!

 

In other news, is there any other Impulse riders around anot? wah kao, damn hard to organise meetup leh. I know the bike is rare but is it THAT RARE to find another rider?

i think not that hard to find impulse riders, i believe xpj is 1 impulse rider ,

for me i very relax rider , so cannot join u

I guess with all the good happenings, there's bound to be bad happenings too. Today nearly "kanna" ._. quite a long time never near shave already.

 

 

To be fair, the driver is sorry about it. To be fair, I do not know whether this happen often to him or not. To be fair he admits his fault and continuously apologised. To be fair, I also assumed that he saw me and will give way before entering the major road. And yet, I was on high alert and thus didn't rear end him.

 

 

After the previous merc shave. At another road, not captured on camera, I guess emotion got e better of me. Another car, BMW, sporty 5 series type, starting from a red light moving off, I pick up spd first. And then I saw from side mirror and sense that he wanna "eat" me. Just in front was merging lane and for some reason today, I took e car on and move slightly right and twist throttle. Anyway nothing much to say since it was only a traffic light to traffic light distance.

 

Of coz I reach the other traffic light first becoz when I "twist", he stop his acceleration. At the next traffic light, again I move off first (E BMW was behind me at the red light), this time no acceleration from the BMW. Maybe he think (1) this rider crazy, so dun play. (2) this bike too fast, cannot eat. (3) dun wan waste fuel. (4) this bike too slow, no fun. ^^

to be fair somwhow or rather , some bikes squeeze to the front then move off slowly , even though driver step hard on oil then find this bike so slow,become rider feel like the car wanna eat him ..

to be fair the new bmw 335 is very fast .. so after u can show u can pick up fast , then the bmw follow u liao lo

Before i started this mini project i look through youtube videos comparing many different action cams. Basically gopro is really for e extreme end of activity. Like i u always track wan record type.

 

For my type of activity its too overkill. :/ too bad e prices r not coming down yet but still eyeing e crocolis or e alvin"'s hd version. Both 100++

E MO is around 170+ right? E alvin's HD version is 100++ and e crocolis i suggest is 150+ but online buy. Alvin's got sg store selling. Alvin could u verify pls? Or i mistake and was someone else mention.

 

This keychain cam tat i m using was only intended as a intermediate idea for trial. To c if i will be able to tahan e extra effort every ride to put on e stuff. In e end turn out e results is not bad, in fact is quite enough as a protection. But not quality enough for my offense. ^^

 

 

@WAItforme. I was in e wrong also. maybe it was e driver's normal driving style then i too sensitive think wan eat me.

 

Then maybe e driver became follow becoz nice dun wan to put me at risk.

 

Anyway if it wasnt becoz i was sensitive and e car really wanted to eat me. Then pls in future ve to select "food" more properly. Else will be sad tat cannot overtake "slow" bike. :/

Lucky the merc driver stopped. If never then will result like that video posted whereby the ang moh just ram the guy from the back and then you will see some insensitive person laugh at what happened to the rider.

I think if my memory serves me right its by enhanzed. Sorry if I wrong. My memory has been greatly affected by the concussion. The keychain cam seems to be quite satisfactory for now. Will upgrade it once I get back on my two feet.

the crocolis cam is from a china comapny which im not sure how reliable it is even the quality is great. if mustafa selling "tachyon" would be good. below is the link for this camera for those want to know more about it which i think is good for bike use.

@friedrice. Ya very long never this close shave already. But looking at e video only is like very scary. But actually situation is not tat bad. Becoz i always try to ve situation awareness, so when i saw e car moving at e minor road, i already check center lane is clear. so already on high alert and when e car really move i just siam to e right. I wasnt surprised or shock, was well in control. But of coz i am lucky also tat e driver is not e type will shoot out to 2nd lane else also trouble. Also lucky tat today my condition was good thus alert. If poor condition day then maybe cant post e video already. hope i can continue to post videos and entertain u all.

 

@CSV. I think he mean xPJYx. Anyway glad tat u r joining e minor grp who puts on video cam for safety. Do keep in mind tat e camera wont protect u physically in any way. Ur defensive riding must still be top notch. Never let e camera lure u into a false sense of security.

 

Also hope u will be able to report any road dangers to TP!!

i think he actually kept his emotions controlled. kudos, if such situation happened, i would be very tempted to shout. but that's not helping either the driver or rider in such cases.

Thanks for ur compliment. My objective is simple. To make e roads safer for me. if i were to go ballistic on everyone, it doesnt help. Just look t e situation on e road. Majority is selfish, bully, etc. Tats not wat i wan myself to become.

 

Anyway if it is a ah beng type and cant talk (lets not assume all ah beng r uncivilized), I'll just let him let him go since it is non accident and cant call police. Then will report TP. Nothin much i can do.

 

 

@CSV. Thanks for e compliment. Was angry but managed to control. Urge everyone to also try to manage e anger so as not to become road rage case 2. Very tough since just nearly zzz but ve to try. Dun become like e fup pple we always curse in other's eyes. We riders ve to be more mature than other fups.

 

 

 

@blogtodaysharing. Just a small update on e 4 cases i reportto TP. I receive 4 letters, dunno for wat, saying tat they ve receive e cases. Basically 4 letters in 1 envelope. Thankfully theres is a contact inside e letter and i will be following this as close as my free time permits.

 

I also intend to feedback about this letter system as it doesnt make sense. I feedback through email and already received a email report. Dun c any need for administrative overhead to send out hardcopy letters. This effort can be channeled to chasing down e offenders instead.
