Tat would be bias. Lol. But i think dues did mention before tat i seem to ve e mentality of us vs them, riders vs drivers so i dun think he means dun rat bikes = ok. I think he just meant tat non serious matters dun bother posting or reporting to TP. E difference is tat those matters tat dues thinks is minor, some i feel is not minor.

I guess for these suituations, it will be best to have a video cam on at all time, all videos can be seen as evidence, of cuz, Singaporean are pampered. Including me.. Approached them with a soft method, don't use violence, I'm sure it will be your win. Riding at 90km/h is within the road limit, video whatever "actions" that the driver might have will be the best.

Example, purposely jam brake and etc.

We are looking at one side of the story, driver.

I do believe some drivers AFTER changing lane without signal, they still continue to do it all the way just to "race" to the front. Despite with riders behind them, they are not scare.

Possibilities of their mindset @ that point of time, why you follow me, wan to race? U small bike, siamz la. Here comes the rev, jam brake and etc.

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Please proceed to this website/web link if you guys have any technical issues on Kawasaki Kips/KR150, I'll update the 1st POST as and when there's a new question. Newbies questions on the top as well. :)

After some tht, l think we'll just agree to disagree.

I guess my standards of what's dangerous or what's acceptable is simply different from yours. I've ridden bikes in SG, MY, TH, TW and have seen and experienced much worse behavior or habits than the minor ones you have video'ed. I can accept and tolerate those little things that seem to bother u. Also when I ride, I ride both offensively and defensively, treating every other vehicle on the road as a threat. So I am mostly not surprised when someone lane changes or swerve w/o signalling. Sh1t like these happen to me almost everyday, but I've learnt to anticipate, avoid and then ignore them.

That's why to me, yr videos show things that I consider non-issues.

Reading ur post i am convinced tat u ve way more riding experience from me. However i am unable to accept e flaws in sg roads just becoz another country has worse flaws.

I think in e sense of riding defensively, unable to do any comparisons but i would like to think tat i am considered a good rider where in i take extra care and ensure full focus/attention while riding. This is ensure my own safety and also not to become a hazard to others. I believe tat once im on e road, my responsibility is not just to myself but also to my family and other road users and their families. Thus e responsibility is very big which is y i am unable to accept repeated mistakes.

Like wat u mentioned, i too am not surprised by those cases in my video. i believe so far only e merc case surprised me. E rest r like u said, common daily occurrence. Those tat r repeated within 1 trip goes to e TP becoz it is becomes a possibility of bad habit/behavior which i find dangerous. Sadly i predict ur comment and i admit tat yes i am unable to prove at it is a habit/behavior but i am not willing to bet tat it is not. Thus i would wish these to get a warning to remind them of their responsibility to e road.

As for y i still post these non-issues. Well, i am glad tat u r a safe rider who ride defensively taking extra care and caution. Thus these videos r not for u, becoz u already noe. These videos r for those who may not realise e little inconsequence things on e road which may cause a life.

No I may not necessarily be more exp than u.

I simply have a different mindset.

Well u ve seen more by riding in other countries. And yes totally agree tt we ve different mindset. Glad we can agree to disagree.

I sincerely hope tat e day will not come when u agree with me on this matter. :)

I agree with you, I'm not experienced but I spend alot of time on the road, I've ridden around Msia and to a small extent in Thailand, I'd say yes, treat every other vehicle as a threat, ride offensively and defensively. Simply because we don't have a metal shell around us, stuff that governs cars, trucks and buses doesn't necessarily applies to bikes.

Anticipation, foresight and decisiveness tantamount imo, skill with your bike is also important imo, not to say you should knee down every corner, at least know how to, you'll never know when you need it.

True. I have been riding both defensively and offensively and even anticipate these stunts. But it could only do so much. It just takes a reckless driver to end it all. I do not expect anyone to agree though. But what I have gone through makes me say feel so.

Yesterday while riding. For the benefit of those who doesn't know, I've been working as a postman in Australia for the past 4 months. This week, I was assigned to deliver mail into another route that is longer to do but on quite even ground.

Along the way, I encountered what I thought was a spider that was coming my way (especially dangling on spider web), so I tried to avoid it but it landed on my helmet. I stopped the bike to use the mirror to see where the spider went to. To my horror, it wasn't a spider but a COCKROACH and it's on my left collar!!!

I grabbed a letter to flick it but it crawled over my back. I was squirming and using the letter to try and swat it on my back and it eventually flew over my helmet and in front of the bike.

I was relieved it was gone but the relieved was short-lived. Eventually the cockroach climbed onto the speedometer. When I reached the next house, I grabbed the bunch of mail and swat the cockroach. 1st hit was too soft and the cockroach tried to crawl away but the 2nd time was too hard and it left a white mark on the speedometer glass and the other fluid remains on the letter that I had to deliver

i'm afraid of cockroaches too!! created a small commotion once at Tuas checkpoint because of a cockroach. I was a pillion on my fren's bike and i saw a cockroach crawling on her back. I told her abt it and she asked me to flick it away. Being afraid, i slowly use the sleeve of my jacket to flick it away but instead the cockroach drop onto the seat in between us.

I told my fren that the cockroach drop onto the seat and quickly dismount from her bike. I ran to the checking area while she rode there. Male officer asked what happened and both of us replied got cockroach crawling in front of me on my fren's back, male officer just gave a smile while conducting the checks (can see he wanted to laugh). Officers at the next lane talking among themselves said we were clowns creating a ruckus and being a nuisance because another of fren of mine overheard their conversation.

Sadly i also afraid of cockroach. Happen before spider, moth and butterfly hitch hike on my bike all e way across e island. E moth time was e scariest for me. It was just above my dashboard on my fz1-s. So e air flow from below my windshield just nice hitting e moth. So it was like anytime e moth may lose its grip and straight at my face. So for e journey i was slower and my head was not in my usual straight up position. Awkward. :/

Anyway today's traffic seems to be extra terrible. Gf complain evening peak hr pie 3 accident caused her usual journey time from 1hr become 2hr.

Just now around 2.30am. On sle going toward woodland. Right at e yishun exit, major accident involving 3 cars. Saw e blue sonata taxi, a gen2 car and another salon. Thankfully no bikes saw. 2 lanes closed but e traffic tail to yio chu kang entrance. :( wonder wat was e cause. :/

On e return journey. Sle/cte toward town. Saw a soup up car. Didnt catch brand. With guess wat, 2 tp car and 3 tp bike. Seems to be e end result of a chase? it was on expressway road shoulder and wasnt a road block.

I shared danielling1981's views too in my first 1-2 years of riding experience.

Quite pissed off with bad riding/driving habits of other people.

However in those days we didn't have miniature cams to record these behaviour, it's all always cursed and swear inside my helmet.

Now after more than 10 years on the road; seeing so many similar things over and over again. I agreed with DeusExMachina.

All things seem so minor to me thus I feel there was no point in pursuing.

You can see 1 minor bad behaviour at 1 point in time, and a few metres later, another will happen.

No one is perfect including yourself. You might happen to capture singular a careless behaviour of someone who is a 99% a safety rider/driver. But is it fair to report him/her?

Also put yourself in the shoes of a TP who is on the road 8-10 hours a day.

He will see plenty of minor bad behaviours more than you. Is there a point to give summon/warning to all of them?

I believe in righteous and impartial; I look at myself before criticising others. (oh well, sometimes you can't see your own faults, you need someone to point it out to you)

So live and let live!

Agree with ur points. Which is y most of e videos i didnt report to TP. Only those tat either commit mistakes continuously 3 times or more in e trip which i can c. Or mistakes tat r more big than others.

Eg: a very minor small crossing e line is fine. but if crossing line with like 1 wheel width which is a fairly dangerous amount 3 times, tat is something i will consider reporting to TP. Like wat u said, all those minor 1 off mistakes. We riders c so much becoz we pass so many many vehicles each trip. And i understand it is only human to make mistakes but repeated mistakes is something else.

Y i am concern about repeated mistakes is simply tat it could be a habit/behavior. And yes i am assuming, but i find it dangerous to ve a road user who may make this kind of repeated mistakes on e road with traffic.
