Too much of 'by the book' attitude. No such thing as logical reasoning anymore.

 

Just had a couple of this fellas coming into my office to check stuff. Hoping that there were infringements. Bloody fool. Come in no courtesy at all, open doors and close doors as he wish, like his fathers house. Better still. Can't even differentiate between alphabet or numerical. Can drive forester. With body kit. These people... Got authority then yaya everywhere they go.

Wa piang... That is a extreme case of running red lights. The white car not fast already almost reach the middle of the road le, so that must ve been like 3 to 4 seconds after the lights turned red.

 

 

dunno about you guys but dont you find horning on a bike not natural? i seldom think about horning when ridding bike.. unlike car, its natural to whack the center of ur wheel in anger... lol...

 

The horn just next and below left handlebar grip. So the position is just nice for the left thumb. When situation arises, just "action" + thumb on horn tgt =D. It's just like gripping your handle bar tightly for me... In fact when driving, harder for me to horn and react at the same time coz i gripping the wheel with both hands ma... To horn hard to just use thumb although it is within reach.

Ya good point "Close his mirror only". So if u wan, u gently close it dun scratch then debatable. But if u ride past and back swipe with ur kunckle gloves, think no chance of zero damage ba... At e very least scratches = "damaging public property; and, without the property owner's written consent".

what a silly behaviour he showed. such people are a danger on the road for others as well. my cousin was caught in such a situation but resulted in a crash of both bikes. he was kept in hospital for a month . and he was alone in Calafornia. then one his friends hired a driver from SFO LIMO SERVICE for him who used to pick and drop him for his further medical appointments. it was a constant tension for the family.

Ya right... Silly behavior... Firstly, u have to understand the circumstances in which the "silly behavior" occured... Secondly, the "silly behavior" doesn't occur everyday, which means the "silly behavior" only occurs when the situation calls for it... Thirdly, the "silly behavior" tells drivers that they're not always right... And lastly, the "silly behavior" will show the drivers to be afraid of riders when there's no Traffic Police around... So u tell me if it was still a "silly behavior" or not...

out joyriding just now.

 

came across an accident on SLE (TPE) Lane 1 near Lentor exit. passed by and took a short glance. i tink it was 1 or 2 bikes. and saw a taxi on the shoulder. not sure wat happened but TP and ambulance were alr thr. hope nothing serious.

 

then got stopped at a TP roadblock at Guillemard Rd. guy put his face near mine and just asked me if i drink. shud have eaten durian before that! :X

So long never see you post. Sadly drivers are road bullies. They only dare to do so in their cages. Will not have guts to step out when confronted. This should be the definition of a road bully. Always bullying riders on the roads.

he didnt.

 

i approaching the junction then he suddenly moveout and turned.. i applied brake and swerve more towards the right. luckily no car behind me.

This is frustratingly sad. But there is no right of way for bikes. The driver might have seen you but did not care seeing its a bike and knows that you will try to avoid it hence why the lorry still moved out. The mentality of metal over flesh and flesh over metal. I feel this is more of road bullying. Big bully small. If you were driving I am very sure the lorry driver would have let you passed first.

This is where riding like a hooligan helps. Recently had a taxi driver suddenly change lanes, well he got a very good look at my finger, as most drivers, show the no emotion face, never gesture he was sorry or what, all the more did I want to drag him out and beat him to an inch of his life.

So how will it helps in our riding if we beat up everyone to an inch of their life each time we encounter inconsiderate motorists? What if motorists are the one beating us to an inch of our life?

there's nothing much we can do. scolded drivers before, F-ed them before, let them bang before, etc. So what? to them, its another day only lor. nothing much we all can say except to be 200% more vigilant.
